Controller doesn't work on DBD atm :((

At first I thought it could be the actual controller itself but I started up another game and the controller works there. So first match, when I pressed LT, I crouched but wouldn't get up from the crouch and in order to do so I'd have to press and hold LT to walk. Anyways did a unplug and plug in again, and this time around nothing would work :/ Is it possible DBD isn't responding to it?

Edit: To clarify I'm using an xbox controller

I suggest just not using controllers on DbD, they’re pretty buggy and in my opinion keyboard is just way better for this game.

You should see which controllers can work well with DbD. I don't know where can you check it though

Buggy? What bugs? I play with controller and have experienced zero issues. It actually eliminated the mouse bug with killers using a mouse.

What controller are you trying to use?

Look up “dead by daylight controller bugs” or something similar to that, and I’m sure you’ll get a bunch of threads popping up about how they’re not working properly.

Weird, because my controllers work, 100% and have never experienced any issue.

Maybe it's the controller you are using. I've used an Xbox 360 controller and currently use a Ps4 controller and haven't had any issues with either.

Something you could try and do, if you haven't already, is set up your controller through Steam Big Picture. It could potentially fix it.

But you suggested to the OP not to use a controller because they are "pretty buggy" with dbd. That's just not the case.
