You could get out on your first try. Personally that happens to me more frequently than the 6-10 times you mentioned and described.
It's pretty good at control a zone, but if you stay far from his control zone not give so much scare, but in the other hand, rescute a teammate is like mission imposible specially if it's patroll the zone or heavy camp >.<
I am a man of no luck.
Usually it takes me between 5 and 10 tries. My record is 16 tries.
I think it's really too much. You should be able to get out by yourself in 5 seconds...You are injured and sometimes you can't escape.
Now, since they nerf the hook trapping, I guess we can let them have this impossible trap to open.
Usually they/we get out in 1-3 attempts, rare cases like this can happen sometimes.
But no way it's OP as long as you have eyes.
I kept wondering who was this "Aldo The Default". Thought he was a great Trapper player.
