Norton detecting virus from dbd?
My norton randomly got rid of the dbd executable when I last tried to launch it. It says threadt detected "Suspicious.Cloud.7.F- not sure what this means.

I turned off auto protect on my norton for now- the game works now. I do not know how this could possibly be a virus, so I'm leaving the protection off to play the game, but can someone let me know if this is just a false flag from the norton anti virus? It only pops up when I tried launching dbd.

Can pretty much guarantee it's a false flag. I use Avast and it does this from time to time with other games. Is there a way to scan the file directly or mark it as an exception? Dunno how norton works.

Its easy anti-cheat giving false positives. Its happened to me and I use webroot instead of Norton.

You should ask Norton for help, It's common to see false flag after you upgrade a software especially a game

I just had the same Norton report from a scan. Norton has a signifigant portion of the market. It does tend to be aggressive. I can't say if it is false or not.
