Why do I get so tryhard survivors?
inb4 sorry for my bad english.

I only have like 120 hours and I'm not so high ranked. But I keep getting red ranks that have over 2k hours or more.

Theres no fun playing against those people because no matter how hard you try, you will always get beaten up

Sometimes you get red ranks with 2k hours sometimes you get red ranks with 50 hours. All luck of the draw with BHVR's crappy MM.

The common suspicion is that there aren’t enough high rank killers to handle all the matches for high rank survivors. That means that the system is matching low rank killers into higher rank games to fill in the gaps.

The silver lining is that if you regularly play against better survivors then it’s an opportunity to improve your own play as a killer. You’d learn more from losing to good players than beating bad ones. That being said, though, ideally the game would have enough killers at high ranks to handle the load.

Also it’s worth noting that the current emblem system for matchmaking is getting replaced soon by an algorithmic method. They haven’t gone into specifics other than to say the new system has been in testing for a while and should be going live relatively soon (summer?)

A lot of them are forced to tryhard against killers that do the same. Neverending cycle.

Matchmaking is an issue, but at the same time, can be dealt with with practice and time. Try watching videos of people who have a lot of experience play, and try to learn to deal with them. Saying the antiquated term "tryhard" doesn't make you seem like a fair player.

What's the opposite of trying, for instance? Standing there and letting you kill and hook them without resistance?

how about game players? I mean in that light, by your original post based on the way you worded it, you're trying hard to kill them. So by that logic, you're a tryhard too. Makes the point moot, doesn't it?

The biggest cause is that there are a lot of Killers who dodge in red ranks, be it due to TTVs, certain cosmetics, e.t.c.. When a Killer dodges, the matchmaking is less picky with the rank of the next Killer, since it's looking to quickly fill the lobby, so it pulls someone out of a random rank. It happens much more than you would think, and you're probably the victim of some of these lobby dodgers!

I've found this to be the case many times in my experience. As a red rank Survivor, I'm usually only matched against green rank Killers when a Killer dodges the lobby. When it's a fresh lobby, I'm always matched against red and high purple ranks.

nobody wants to lose. games can go fast for either side.

If I should ever feel to play DbD again I promise I keep on place to not make the killer upset for the chase, I guess that some killers wants see that kind of gameplay from survivors.

michael jordan coming to your neighborhood pickup game and destroying everyone doesn't give an opportunity to learn. you can't learn by playing vs people with 2000 hours when you have 100. all you learn is damn this game sucks

Better getting tryhards than stealthy blendettes that won't touch a single gen for 20 mins.

The definition varys. It's kinda being a wannabe. Feeling great and strong against a "weak" or unexperienced player.

As a killer in my experience I disagree, I don't really learn much from the survivors I can easily catch, it's the ones who can juke me in a chase that I get better practice out of.

you were the highest level killer at that time , theres not enough high level killers
