How do I, as a killer, open an exit gate?

Once all 5 gems are completed or the hatch has been shut, I’ve seen killers open them as a survivor. As a killer however, I just don’t know how. I’ve tried hitting the gate as that’s what it looked like others were doing, I also don’t see any option about opening the exit gate once I’m at one, so what do I do?

Not sure. I saw a doc open one once. Maybe he shocked it?

Press Space, it's faster than survivors too. To open the gate as killer you need to have the 5 gens done.

You can only open them once all five generators have been completed, and the End Game Collapse has not been initiated.

So if the other door has already been opened by the Survivors, or you closed the Hatch, you won't get the option.

Walk up to the gate switch, hold down the same button you would to break pallets and kick gens, you can only open one gate, if the EGC is already triggered then you cannot open a gate.
