Pig trap kills

Hey i just started maining pig :D i really like however i havent quite figured out a solid strategy to kill survivors thoguh bear trap. So its no surprise that ive never actually had one hehe. Any other good pig players who might sharing me some tipps? currently i feel like its extremely luck based wether they find it instantly or not however i wanted to ask some people who know her better ;D

You won't get them often, however if you want to have best chance of getting them run the addons that add an extra box for them to search and keeps them from seeing the auras of the boxes until it's activated.

The bear traps are 'very' rarely going to kill survivors on their own. You use them mainly to buy time because someone trying to remove a bear trap = 1 less person on generators, or maybe much more if it's a SWF group that ain't going to fix them.

That said, you can use 'tampered timer' (I think that's the name), a purple addon which reduces the timer, as well as combine that with other addons to increase the chance the trap kills someone.
But most of the time you're just using it to extend the game in your favor.

Well, I once barely survived the trap explosion when Pig was using two add-ons of the same type. If I'm not mistaken those are Bag of Gears and Box of Gears, though I'm not sure (don't have piggy).

Crate of Gears & Tampered Timer，

Considerably increases Jigsaw Box Search time. so you can interrupt them

Tampered Timer,only have enough time for 4 Jigsaw Box Search time,but if you slightly interrupt , they will die


if you hit fast ,slug them will better to make them die


the trap is for the killers to waste survivors 1 or 2 mins to search jigsaw box , so only 3 people doing gen....not for kill

Purple add-ons are your friend. Tampered Timer is good, and pair it with either Jigsaw Sketch or Box of Gears. This doesn't guarantee they will pop, but it CAN happen with these. Point of traps is not to kill though, but to waste their time. A good time waster build for this goal is a full hex build with Thrill of the Hunt, Haunted Grounds, Devour Hope, and the one form Deathslinger that lets you find people when they break a totem.

Aside form that, basic M1 killer builds work for pig. Whispers and Monitor and Abuse, BBQ and Chili, Sloppy Butcher, NOED if you want, and Save the Best for Last are all good perks on pig.

It depends how toxic you want to go about it. Put a trap on a survivors head and camp them out via crouching making sure they can't get a single box done without chasing them works.

It's an absolutely toxic move that will not get you any other kills besides that one survivor who I guarantee will 100% hate you, but it works.

xD i migh try that sometime. any other less toxic strategies with more kills involved :D

Yeah i feared so. not that i dont like it but i would love more kills with them xD

As myu said essentially.
Other than that you can try stacking tampered timer with 5 jigsaw boxes using knockout.
If you just want 1 rbt kill camp the survivor and chase him while crouched, poke him every time he tries to remove the rbt and done.
But its really toxic and not so funny for you too.

Use your traps for slow down, not for kills. I recommend using the addon for an extra trap, it's really good.
