For Anyone Wondering About How to Disable Anti-aliasing.

Peantis has confirmed that the ability to change engine.ini to disable it is now impossible, so it is now impossible to disable anti-aliasing (as it is baked into the game).

"HamletEagle basically answered it, but it's to prevent malicious modification of the ini files to gain an advantage. Unfortunately that means that other harmless tweaks, like disabling anti aliasing, are also disabled. It's not just to spite the people who prefer playing without anti aliasing."

LoL...don't believe everything devs will write to you. It's possible they don't know how to improve your own games, let alone try to block Anti-aliasing. Wait for ULTIMATE OP Config used by twitch streamers like Otzdarva, TrU3Ta1ent, Monto. In short, The config just needs a new lines who function with the new patch .... that's it and we will wait until the community finds.

Last information from a known guest :P :P : Dead by Daylight has received an update 3.7.0 causing configs to no longer function. Once either I, or another in the community find the UE4 lines needing changed, I will update the config so it is working with the latest update!

They hard-coded it so that it cannot be disabled using the game itself. You will have to use a third-party service to disable it, and personally when I try to use NVIDIA to disable it or sharpen it the game deliberately crashes itself.

I know how games work, and I know ridiculous it is that we had to disable it ourselves in the first place. Don't assume that, please.

It's also REAL NICE that I can't play the game. AT ALL. The anti-aliasing they put into the game not only gives me cataracts, but it also puts my frames down the toilet. Right now I can only play on low and hope to get a STABLE 50 fps.

It's how it is, but they didn't do it because of people removing AA but because of people wallhacking with some simple lines you used to put in that same engine.ini file.

Then what you do, as a competent developer, is to give an option to disable it in the options before you disable the engine files.

All settings. It used to be disabled on low settings, but they made it affect every setting a long while ago.

So even if I buy a new grathic card and increase resolution and quality to high, this AA sh*t will still destroy my eyes?

Yes.
Take it from me, I have an RTX and can't even play the game because of how blurry it is and how low the fps is.
