Flashing Colors
is anyone else having this problem when playing killer... whenever i load into a match my screen will start flashing colors such as blue, green, and red, at random intervals.

If anyone has had this problem could they please tell me how to fix it. It is very irritating.

Thanks

Unless you were playing on haddonfield try playing survivor too and see if the same is happening. If yes, bad news for you.

What's the bad news?
How close to hardware issues are you?

like do you always max frames or barely hit 60 on low?
Do you have underlying heat issues?
Is your memory overclocked?
Is your GPU or CPU overclocked/straining?

color flashes are not a good sign

I run ultra settings while getting a smooth 60 fps. My CPU and GPU have stable temps. Nothing is overclocked or straining (as far as I know).

The color flashes are weird because some games they happen more than others or not at all.

I also don't have any other games that have this issue

OK so this is happening in multiple games? Try reinstalling your drivers. It sounds like a hardware issue but a clean driver never hurts.

Define Stable temp. For me anything over 60C is way too hot and I turn up my fans.

DO you run MSI afterburner or any hardware monitoring software? That can give you a good Idea of when you are getting issues. I used afterburner to move my fan curve up since I knew this game was kinda hoggy with the GPU.

For me I have seen a few different hardware issues with color flashes.

Monitor was going out (four years old), ram was overclocked too high, the worst I've seen others have are dying card or power supply.

So I ran MSI Afterburner and saw that my temps. were more in the 70s. Again though, this color flashing only seems to be a problem with DBD. I can try turning my fans up to see if the color flashing will resolve itself.

Have you ever repasted your card? 70 is pretty high. A good thermal paste job can bring life back to an old card. If it is a new card make sure your case air flow is good. You could need to clean your rig.

I repasted my card about half a year ago. I'll take these suggestions into consideration.
