Killer, do you start the match if you see a key ?

Hey, do you ? Honestly... when i see a key i even dont start the match and i press cancel so i exit from the lobby. I used to (only with keys) take the mori + noed and to tunnel hard the surv with the key but... honestly ... it's boring... You ? Do you still do the classical > tunnel > mori or you even dont start like me ? I'm curious to hear your responses and tactics against the "Evil Keys" !

That's not true. Red ranks are easy to get to, but that doesn't mean the majority of people get there. The developers haven't even got there.

Again, go watch a stream. Red rank killer games are not instant like people here are claiming. This forum is the smallest, and it's full of bias. I bet I could name the people who are saying they got instant killer queues.

I don't know why people like to make stuff up on here. The developers are much more likely to look at Reddit and the official forums, so there's really no point.

Really? I feel like keys are the next item to get looked at, especially because you find them so often in chests.

I find them almost all the time with Plunderer's Instinct too. I don't know about moris. I feel like they've put too much effort into the animations to nerf them hard.

thank you for the reminder. I had the same impression but then I let it go. in fact it happened to me more than once in the last few matches that a surv without key was escaping with a key. they might have changed something.... ? maahhhhh

I honestly do not care if survs bring keys. If I get the 4k against one several keys that's pretty neat. If several escape using it, I can tell myself they did not have the balls to finish all gens and it was not a standard game anyway. Weirdly enough key escapes are one thing I never got salty over as a killer.

Why would I ? If i'm not planning on using a mori (basically the killer's version of a key => equally as OP) then fck that. I don't want to go in a match knowing i'm going to lose no matter what, even if I did my objective completely correct. Besides, killer queues take like 1 minute, so it's not like it's that bad.

Usually the key item is too small to see in the lobby for me so doesn't happen often that I dodge.

Ok, i assume you dont start the match.

And then you say:

What does It means ... ? You start anyway the match and you dont want want to use NOED or MORI (frustrating perk + addon) or any other PERKS that helps you in the "hunt" ? But your statement contradict what you just said previously maaaaaaaan !

That may be the case, but even just from my experience, I'm seeing a lot of lower ranked Killers getting paired against me and the (almost always) 3 man SWF in most of my Survivor games in purple and red ranks. I've faced R20 Killers more than a few times after sitting in Survivor lobbies for 10-15 minutes. And when I'm Killer in purple ranks, my matches are found in under 30 seconds. So my own experience corroborates what the other posters I've seen here are saying about fast queue times. I've only seen a few people say their matches take forever, and this is the only comment I've seen where the poster is in red ranks.

I've faced yellow rank killers as a red rank survivor, but never after waiting for 10 minutes and never someone below rank 15. Survivor only takes 1 minute to find a lobby tops for me. I play at different times in the day as well.

This is an issue that I see reported nowhere else but the steam forums, and I find that interesting. When the Hex Ruin nerfs were coming I saw the same people claiming their queue times are instant now, talk about how nobody was going to play killer, and yet here we all are playing killer.

What you're experiencing is not what I'm seeing from the top DbD killer streamers either. None of them are experiencing instant killer queues. If I saw more people reporting what you're saying outside of the steam forums, I'd believe it, but I just don't.

So, if you're playing Killer around 10 PM to 2 AM you're actually getting near instant Killer queues.
During the day it's the other way round, that you get faster survivor queues, peaking around 1 PM .

It guarantees survivors can escape through the hatch when they don't deserve the hatch they should have to get all gens done and then exit through the exit gates.

Sometimes i just bring broken key to troll the killer. He brings his strongest items, ultra rare addons, ebony mori etc just to fight my useless item haha.

NoED is preventable. Keys are not. Franklin's is as close as the Killer can get, and Franklin's has to trigger some 12 times to actually break the key. Otherwise one of their SWF friends grabs it and they leave anyway.

I don't even pay attention to the lobby when I search for a match as either killer or survivor. Makes everyone wait the 60 seconds or whatever but I got things to do while the match is loading.

NOED is preventable if you are SWF maybe, as Solo your teammates never cleanses lol
