My mic as I sandbag them on hook and farm them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtO3AHMBePY
To be fair though, I don't think anybody could handle those squeakers though unless you were one yourself.
Plus there is a option to mute them anyway, or I assume there is, I never touched halo. Left 4 Dead on console was good fun though, toxic wise.
However...unfortunately there simply aren't any real substitutes or competitors, so DbD is all we really have, and it also has the most support with all the 3rd party franchises making an appearance in the game. This also unfortunately means putting up with the incredibly toxic community in this game. This is without a doubt the worst, and I do mean the worst, in-game community I have ever come across. Even my friends who play games like Dota or League of Legends (which are infamous for having bad communities) say it's not nearly as bad as this game. If you haven't already...you should probably make your profile comments friends only too, because people definitely will go to your profile and leave the same kind of remarks on your profile too. Speaking from experience.
Nah, the things people said in 2009 cod/halo lobbies were so over the top stupid that it was impossible not to laugh. These days you just get told to kill yourself. It's not even funny or good banter.
LMAO
Legit advice in general, especially those last couple of sentences. Preach.
I'm honestly surprised it took you that long to run into that. But yeah, the quarantine is tough on everyone. Stay safe.
(This happens a lot when I play trapper)
I had some add ons that severely increased my set up speed so it didn’t take me long to take all the strong loops down.
Survivors pretty much gave me not only a trapper daily but a trapper archive challenge too.
And of course any time things go wrong for survivors it’s blame the killer they blame me for basement tunneling and 3 genning.
1 next time don’t disarm my traps and I won’t know someone is going for a basement save seriously I had like 1 trap on the stairs and it was avoidable.
2nd I have no control over how the gens get done it was on you to pay attention to the positioning of the gens. 3 genning yourselves is a noob mistake and it’s brutal when trapper is the killer.
But as a killer *which is also what i mostly play/like to play* you will get a lot of nice comments as long as you dont play your role 100% xD. Which many times i like to do, just fool around, 2 hook everyone but not finish the job.
Oh but the time you want to kill or do something for a challenge/daily ritual, if I won easily I just type GG, and exit immediatly to not wait for their comments... Just saying... So yeah when you get beaten easily they laugh, or flex their abilities, but they lose and they let out all their inner rage
Now, I'm not saying playing killer is particularly hard. If it's not a 4 man SWF and you have meta perks on a decent killer, you'll likely do well. (Although coordinated 4 man SWFs, while beatable as the right killer/perks, are a PITA both in game, and often in the chat)
But the mental stress if you listen to people is often going to be very hard because they will tell you a lot of things, almost none of it I can repeat.
I play on and off as a killer. Sometimes I play survivor if the queue is short enough, but usually killer queues are much faster so I play that. I try not to play dirty, and I get told the worst things.
I've taken vacations as killer in part because I run into so many survivors telling killers off, so I figure:
"Okay, you guys win. I have to wait awhile as a survivor already, enjoy waiting longer."
And I've told many salty survivors that.
Go ahead, tell me things I can't repeat, tell me to uninstall.
I didn't camp them out, I didn't bring a mori (I don't like them in particular), I didn't tunnel one guy to death who didn't deserve it. I'll take the survivors advice and stop playing killer, I'm sure you guys hate killers who try to be fair to survivors, and I'm sure you don't mind dealing with the queues already.
Am I frustrated? Maybe. I'm not angry at the game. The game is broken and imbalanced and I've come to accept that.
I'm angry at the people who take it so seriously that they have to hate the opposing side they never play as without fully understanding "Why am I waiting 10 minutes as a survivor? Killer is EZ cause I can kill gray rank survivors as killer no problem!"
