What is actually bannable?
ive heard a lot of "slugging is bannable", "tunneling is bannable" and "camping is bannable" but this is mainly from the survivor side of things.

my main question what can actually get you banned from dead by daylight? (other than the obvious like hacking and exploiting)

Bodyblocking excessively.

To clarify, you can do this:
You can block a survivor in as a killer if you intend to down them with either an M1, or an M2. Commonly performed by Wraith, billy, and leatherface they will try to corner/block a survivor in in order to hit/down them. This is generally acceptable because you are not bodyblocking for an extended period of time. You can also block the basement for a short period if you suspect borrowed time, as that's about 15 seconds.

You can NOT block a survivor in as another survivor/killer for long periods with the intention of holding them hostage there. I don't think there's a set time, but I'd say ~30 seconds to 1 minute. Anything beyond that is bodyblocking.

Throwing the game is also 'technically' bannable, but in order to do this, you would have to do it excessively as a killer, or as a survivor you have to run up to the killer and get downed immediately and then die immediately on the hook.
You can kill yourself on the hook so long as you don't throw yourself at the killer and this is not bannable from my understanding.

AFKing 'technically' is, but again, must do this excessively.

Aiding the killer to find other survivors could also be bannable, but this is hard to prove it's done intentionally sometimes.

To also clarify: Slugging, camping, tunneling, is not bannable, regardless of what any entitled survivor proclaims.

Sorry but I'm sick of killer mains being sad for themselves.

KILLERS:

Gen rushing (which doesn't really exist) isn't bannable. Flashlight and pallet saves are not bannable. Looping you because you try to chainsaw or use any other applicable power too much is not bannable.

No normal killer ever said these are (or should be bannable). Gen rush on the other hand definitely exists. Entitled survs say it doesnt but how else do you call a game that ends in less than five minutes with survs just sitting on gens and escaping with less than 16k points - that means they did not interact with the killer at all which kinda defeats the whole point of the game. The fun is in interacting with the killer, not in holding M1 for 5 minutes (at least for any sane person).

Well it's kind of their objective to do the gens, not running circles around the killer. So I personally don't mind it. The killers objective is to find and kill, he can do that in any way he prefers, regardless of what the survivors are complaining about. And the survivors objective pretty much is doing those gens and get out. Fine by me.

Although among the complainers the survivors are yelling in majority about the Killer itself not respecting their rules they came up with :) Which is always funny, but you can safely shrug it off and start your next game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eehSShmVJSo - even the devs during one of the livestreams said what is not bannable, even though not everyone can like it.
