Protection hits not registering
I need help with this David challenge, taking 2 protection hits in a trial. I'm running WGLF with it. Last match, someone is unhooked, starts getting chased by Spirit, I block the killer and take a hit, the unhooked teammate and I both get away and I get credit on WGLF. Great.

Later, Spirit is chasing unhooked person again, I body block a doorway right as teammate runs through it, Spirit hits me and teammate escapes before I go down. That did not count on WGLF as a protection hit, nor did I complete the challenge. Can someone explain the "correct" way to take a protection hit? The only difference I can see between those two blocks is the first time, we both escaped, the second time, the injured teammate escaped but I went down. Is that why?

Pulled from dbd wiki:

Protection Hit Score Events can be triggered every 3 seconds under the following conditions:

Be hit within 10 metres of an injured Survivor.
Be hit by the Killer carrying another Survivor.

I'm guessing the teammate was farther than 10m the time it didn't work.
