How exactly does it work? didn't quite get it by reading just the description or googling it on the game's wikia

Yes, i read that, but how exactly does it work? like, you just slash survivor and he immediately dies so no need for hook or what?

oh... no... it's like a normal mori but can only be done if there's only 1 survivor left
So in essence you still need to knock them down and perform it

honestly, i don't know how even normal mori works, lol, so if you'd explain that, that would be really appreciated. thanks in advance

Mori (Ivory / Ebony): you down someone after you have hooked them and you can murder them with your own hands. Ebony lets you kill everyone, ivory lets you kill ONE person after being hooked.

Cypress mori youre asking about, does not require the person to have been hooked, but they do need to be the last remaining survivor on the map.

so, essentially you meet requirements of that certain mori, then chase surv and when you catch them you just murder them with animation?

If you find and down the last survivor (so when the other 3 are dead) you can mori them, regarless of you hooking them or not.

Yes. Mori's allow you to kill a survivor. All of them require you to have the survivor that you want to mori downed, and when you are standing on/near them, the M1 action "Kill" will appear and if you hold it, you kill them with an awesome animation.

Just incase you don't know: Ivory (rare, green rarity) and Ebony (ultra rare, pink rarity) mori's both only let you mori if you have already hooked the survivor at least once, Cypress does not require that. Ivory's and Ebony's can be used at any time, if the requirements are met.

Ivory is for one person, Ebony's let you kill everyone.

Be prepared for salt tho, people do not like the offerings... But you'il get used to that while playing dbd :)

As a heads up, ignore the post game chat! I'm yet to see a killer or indeed be the killer that's used an Ebony where the survivors have been pleasant afterwards lol

well, one guy was quite salty because i let one other escape, but i haven't seen him whole game, because he was absolutely overlevelled compared to me, lmao. he even complained i bought skin for my favourite chracter. other than that, no one batted an eye
