Steam and switch crossplay?

If I'm playing on steam and a friend has dbd on switch, would we be able to play together?

You have to hope to randomly run into them or search 1000 games.

You can’t invite them to a party. PC uses Steam friends and interface to invite and party. Where Switch does not use steam and has no compatibility yet.

The answer is no, you can't, you'll never be able to find eachother.

You need to use some hack to be able cross platform...
And I only saw PC players on console not switch...
