how can i reinstall easyanticheat?

my game got stuck in the infinite loading screen so i closed it in the task manager.. now it takes ages to do the first loading.. the easy anti cheat loading.. i tried to verify my files on steam but nothing sooo i would like to know if i can reinstall it without having to download the game all over again

So you right click dead by daylight in your library,go to properties, go to where it says Verify Integretity of Game cache and click it, Its under one of the catorgories, your welcome

go to your dbd folder, delete your EAC folder and then verify your cache to reinstall it

i tried that and it found 1 corrupted file but still the same thing.. i could load the game in like 5 seconds before but now its taking so long

This happened to me a few times. I restarted my game. Restarted steam. Restarted my computer & it worked for me. If that doesn't help, I'd take a break for like 30 minutes & come back & see if its fixed

when ever i get into dbd it says that Easy Anti cheat is not working and kicks me out right away. I tried to verify the game files but it still did not work
