The "Hag" is the "Wendigo"

It all makes sense. Her Bio, her Mori, her recuperation, and even her appearance all scream Wendigo. The only thing that is different is they added some type of Black Magic to her as well. Hence, why she is called the Hag instead of Wendigo.

The only question is, is she the Wendigo killer that so many players seemed to want?

They said they don't want to include religion into this game, but the wendigo is a creature of an Indian tribe, I guess that's why.

Yea i agree when i saw someone play as her and she ate some one it reminded me of a wendigo, but dead by daylight's version of a wendigo since she looks different. So she makes sense why she's ugly Plus her perks and her character combined make people rage, hence the name "The Hag" and old mean people are called hags lol.

If her power was different like a Sprint Burst for Killers it would be a 100% Wendigo

She would not really be a wendigo considering that there really is nothing pointing to it. Hags or witches are common throughout the world in folklore and legends. I would highly doubt that the devs even know how a wendigo was supposed to be created(mostly by greed, sometimes by destruction of the environment). Considering that if the Hag was supposed to be a wendigo then the devs already messed up Algonquin lore. Since Wendigo are associated with winter, famine, and the cold. Players have to keep in mind that there are plenty of ghoulish monsters to choose from and the devs do have the right to make one up from referrences of multiple sources.

well, wraith is already sort-of based on tribal religion and culture

Did the devs create their own tribe for the wraith or did they use an existing tribe? I guess that's a difference

Actually Until Dawn was pretty big. So everyone practically knows what a wendigo is by now.

While I'm sure the Wendigo from Until Dawn was most definitely an inspiration for this killer, there is absolutely no evidence to support that this creature is part of the Hag's lore. Especially considering that she has her own lore already, which is that she was a nice old lady who was tortured. (Basically).

Wendigos are made by eating human flesh not by the other things unless there is more lore to them then what I researched.
