How do I use offerings?

Hey guys - just bought the game, how do I use the offerings?

I believe that every single offering beside memento moris is passive. To use that, you have to simply choose one in "offerings" window in survivor menu. You get offerings via bloodweb.

EDIT: Killers can use offerings too, ofc....

Pick one before the match and it will be consumed(or "burned" as game calls it) at match start.

I have one called Decrepit Clapboard?? It doesn't appear to offer any benefit for simply having it equiped.

It simply increases the chances to have a match on a certain map. It's gone after you use it, just like every other offering.

Equip one in the loadout tab. When the match starts, the offering is burnt and the effects of the offerings are applied to that match. Basically they're a one time use modifier. Like a perk, but gone after you use it.

I don't believe there is a way currently. You don't have limited space though, so there's no harm in just letting them sit there.

Yes, but it's just annoying to search for offerings i want to use in all this pile of junk i have :D

So I equip it and it just uses itself?

I could've sworn I had one equiped and it didn't get used.

Does the game choose a random player's offering?

Nope, all offerings from all 5 players are used if they are equiped.
