And yes, I think the survivor sees the debuff. Which will tell them you have the Perk and will tell them to hunt the totem

That's where I'm at, currently. Great choice : "Take the perk and get worse or don't take it and get it every level"
"Hey look, I have that strong perk I can stack, go destroy the totem asap! You know, that one I just dropped in the middle of the street!"
Great job devs.
I think I'll just drop the perk anyway because of the totem spawns making its usefulness too random (most of the time useless)
The stacks stay until the totem is cleansed.
Which sucks, because I too have experienced terrible totem placements. I literally run to the totem asap in matches to trap it, but it's usually destroyed by survivors before I even make it halfway across the map to it.
This is really bad luck ... but you still managed to reach level 1 despite this awful location xD
By contrast, there are some annoying totems that can't be destroyed due to bug that should be easily fixed in future patches oOo

Well you might so it goes away for good and you wont be getting it in future bloodwebs. I just had this idiotic perk start appearing in my bloodwebs. So now I have both monstrous shrine and hex: devour hope appear in my every bloodweb until I get either to lvl 3. Marvelous. Devs, please add some variance to the bloodwebs so it doesnt repeat perks THIS much...
Well, on positive side, that should give you good opportunity on ambushing the surv that goes for it..?
yeah but I like to be mobile. It's just us a players having to compensate for an awful design that bothers me.
