Why do ppl play normal characters on PTB?
Okay so, I understand ppl are playing the PTB to learn the new killer or survivor.
But WHY are ppl playing normal characters? They don't get to keep their progress after the beta, right? I honestly don't understand why...

Well you should play the other killers to see if they broke anything. That happens from time to time, they break things. People like to spot things about the characters they play in the PTB so it can be fixed before it goes live.

I can imagine someone testing the new perk changes on killers they plan to use post patch.

If I see a group of regular survivors on the ptb I choose a regular killer then the one. I choose legion. They always get upset saying why arent you playing new killer when they dont even have any reworked perk or playing new survivor.

I used the new DS on him, worked like a charm.

They are using normal perks and being immerse, so I honestly don't know why they are in the PTB

It is a good way to see how the new affects old meta.

By being immerse? I had one guy using iron will, urban evasion, self care and dead hard. He didnt do anything the whole game. How is that testing things lol

They didnt have the new perks lol, they were just being immerse and gen rushing. I see no point in being in the PTB then

Question is, why not ?
They are just getting ready with the build they already got to face the killer once in live build.
Survivors are only skins sooo

To test themselves against the new killer? Sometimes queue system ends up grouping all the normal characters together. Just keep playing until you can find new killer or new survivor.
