Don't let DBD die!

Hey everybody! I don't want to make a long story.
To make it pretty short: Everybody sees the game has some problems. It's obvious.
I do not name them. It's too much and you all know them too anyhow.
The game has so much potential! I like it very much. And you know the developers do some stuff for the game but on the critical parts they care a sh*t about the game.

So let's change something together! We are the players. We bought the game. And we don't want a slowly dying piece for nothing. Otherwise we can take our money and burn it. It's the same result. To be honest: I don't know how it's the most effective way to do this. But together we can do it somehow.

For the ones who maybe feel offended: I don't want to "destroy" their holy abomination, called Dead By Daylight. This is not about destroying the game. The game is good! But it has some very bad diseases. Some are smaller, some are bigger. So please stay calm and not be toxic or similar stuff.

This game has been around for over 2 years now and still no actual competition for this type of game. Despite its problem, it's gonna continue to stick around for a long while just as it always has

And because of that it should be fixed from it's problems. Otherwise IF there will be competition it could be an easy thing to be better than DBD.

If you take away their Toxic, 98% of the players will quit. There are WAY too many players that dont actually like the game, only like the fact it is ez to be toxic and get away with it. other games weed these player out, DBD doesnt. So, they find their way here and stay, because, no one else will take them

DbD won't die as there is no competitor outside to challenge DbD to which the players could go and the ones that are out are either dead, have scandals or are even more broken than DbD.
Also with the upcoming switch version it will add even more players to the community.
There is also right now no real indicator that shows it might die in the near future as it is still under the top games viewed on Twitch and most played on steam

Maybe I got it wrong, but it's not about to take their toxicity. It's more about comments like: "Hey! Suck my ballz dumbass! I love the game like it is. Do not change it. DIE!!". Or nonsense like that!
Just to let them understand I have no bad intention. ^^

It won't die as long as new content keeps coming out.

The player base has been healthier the past 6 months than it has ever been.

Naturally, between chapters and events the population drops. That is normal. But the numbers are still better than this time last year and the year before

Seeing all the bugs on PC and how unoptimized it is and watching some footage of the game on the playstation, it´s hard for me to imagine the game will even boot up on the switch.

Well it at least somehow worked as nintendo approved it and it was shown on the direct but if it wil run well is something else. They also still have some time to optimize it but how good the optimization will be is of course questionable

We've bought the license to be able to play this game, but that's it.
The whole license of this game would be more expensive than just 500 EUR, I think..

And, to be honest, I wouldn't even mind it.
To waste my time in some boring matches against hella obvious cheaters (voice communications) isn't the game, what Steam, and other people talked about in the reviews.

Such people remain me the people, who grab the bomb, go to public, perform a suicuide, and take plenty of other innocent people with themselves, just because they feel, like it's the best thing, what they can do.

It may seem, as if I was taking the game too seriously and personally, right?
Well, it's not like that, but if you constantly see this, this, this, and this insult multiple times typed and used against you in just one-single-day, you really start to think, who are those people, who insult each other to comfort their minds, (...)

I'll continue to play, but as soon as the ammount of SWF groups, who use voice communications / insult you at the every possible moment, I'll gladly unninstall the game, and tell my friends about my experiences, why not to play this game.

Hitbox stuff, where the killer doesn't really hit you but it counts as one, party system to prevent annoying continuing invites... after win, after lose, after leaving game, after disconnect (whats very often)... and so on

If this game do die, I could care less. There been so much crap that players been trying to get the devs to see and fix and still it is taking X amount of years to do it. Hell the developers know for a fact on what kind of community they have and built up for this some what trash game.

They promised dedicated servers this summer so most of these problems you listed will probably be fixed

None of these are real problems. You and your premade friends will need more than 59 hours and play killer more often to realise what the real problems are.
