Is the Dead by Daylight theme song copyrighted?
Quick question is the Dead by Daylight theme song copyrighted? Would I be able to use it as a intro/outro song on YouTube without issues? Just curious.

So I wouldn't be able to use it? I know portions of the song is played in the actual game. If I were just to use those parts, it would be okay? I know people haven't gotten copyright strikes from the in game music.

I’d say you’d be able to use it, just be sure to state where the music came from in your description or whatever. I’ve made a video using Dead by daylight pictures of the survivors and the theme and uploaded it to YouTube. At the end of the video it has all rights reserved to the developers of Dead by daylight

You can still get a strike for this.

I noticed TydeTyme actually uses the Dead by Daylight theme song for his outro. Seems like he still gets monetized and no copyrights.

He has 108,000 subs so isn't a small content creator.
Usually companies are more hesitant to touch bigger fish because of potential backlash. They can copyright strike a channel with 200 subs though and it goes unnoticed.

It is not a smart idea to ask the community about such a question, if you want a bulletproof answer

True. I have around 1.4k at the moment. So I'm definitely not that big as him.
