April Fools Patch Notes

So I decided to take it upon myself, because I have literally nothing better to do, than to make DBD Patch notes for April Fools. This is not meant to be taken seriously, because regardless of how much many of us hate, or like, aspects of DBD, it's still a video game at the end of the day.

New Game Modes:
Because so many games been starting off as 1v3, or the game easily turns into 1v3, and so many requested a new game mode, we have now introduced a feature to start the game ALREADY at 1v3 and repairing 4 generators.

We have also introduced a 4v1. 4 killers vs 1 survivor. Can the 1 survivor fix 5 generators? Will the killers compete? Will Spirit ever confess her forbidden love for Wraith? Find out in the next 'All my Unlife'

Balancing:

Survivors:
We've added voice comms for Survivors, but only in situations where the other survivors you are paired with do not speak the same language as you, otherwise you just get pure static and get called various things that we can't censor or see in your reports if you report them for foul language.

Generator Repair Speed Decreased by 25%

Decisive Strike has been rebalanced. A survivor can now use it once per match if they're very sure they want to attack the killer. Four decisive strikes performed on the killer will immediately kick the killer from the game.

Generator Repair Speed Increased by 10%

T-bagging in front of the killer enough times will now grant the killer a buff that makes them angry. It doesn't give them any other benefits other than really wanting to camp you, and then you get upset over the camping

You must now repair an additional generator

Emblems have been altered for survivors. In order to double pip you must repair 4 generators (solo) unhook all other survivors at least once, stay near the killer for 1 minute, and stun him EXACTLY 3 times. Once is too little. 2 is not enough. 5 is right out.

Toolboxes repair slightly slower. Screw it, you guys figure out generator speed on your own.

Killers:

Overall: Whenever you are looped around a pallet more than three times, Benny Hill theme music will begin playing. This will last until the survivor is downed, or the chase is ended.

Trapper:
Trappers traps have been readjusted. In order to trigger a trap and get captured, you must now be facing north in the middle of June during the year of your sons graduation. This will cause you to trigger the trap 50% of the time. Even then, you will still be able to see it in tall grass.

Wraith:
Wraith has been temporarily removed from the game while we deal with a lawsuit about the Pavlov theory and his bell.

The Hillbilly:
Instead of the chainsaw noise, Hillbilly will now strum a banjo rapidly.
The Hillbilly's chainsaw can now cut trees and hedges. Honestly we're not sure why it didn't do that already.
If a tree lands on a survivor and nobody is around to see it, does the survivor die? We're not sure.

The Nurse:
Is fine.

The Shape:
We decided that Scratched Mirrors Myers is too scary for people and removed the ability to play as him. He put horror into the game, and honestly we did not like this.
Myers will now tilt his head after placing a survivor on the hook.

The Hag:
The Hag's traps now trigger in a 128 meter radius.

The Doctor:
Survivors will now shout "I'm over here!" When they reach Madness 1, 2, and 3 respectively. They like you!
The doctor's shock therapy now lasts 5 seconds where the survivor cannot vault or drop pallets.
We have removed The Doctor's name. He is henceforth to be referred to as "Who"

The Huntress:
The Huntress's hatches are now properly labeled in the lockers to claim they are her property, and survivors should not be allowed to take them from the lockers.
Her hatches have been adjusted. Half the time when the hatches miss, they hit. Half the time the hatches hits, they miss. In other words nothing really changed.
She just wants to axe you a question!

The Cannibal:
The Cannibal has been given Insidious as a passive perk. We are completely positive this will in no way encourage him to camp.
Like The Hillbilly, The Cannibal's chainsaw can cut trees and hedges.

The Nightmare:
Freddy can only put survivors to sleep after giving them a long winded speech about the balance of the game as is now. This takes roughly five minutes, and those who don't read what he says are immune to falling asleep.
We're confirming that Freddy won in Freddy VS Jason, and that's why we haven't added Jason, but added Freddy.
In order to wake up against Freddy, you must now pinch yourself. This takes one second to perform.

The Pig:
The key to the reverse bear trap has been removed from the jigsaw boxes. What, didn't you see how Amanda rigged the games? Go watch the Saw franchise!

The Clown:
The Clown's movement speed has been reduced to 80% until he drinks from his tonic to give him that boost of energy he so desperately needs.
The Clown has been given an Asthma Inhaler and should now cough slightly less. Be nice if he's chasing you though, it's hard for him to run!
The Clown will now collect middle fingers specifically, for very obvious reasons.

The Spirit:
The Spirit's Glass noise when she phases has been increased to mapwide. We're pretty sure this still gives her the element of surprise.

The Legion:
A new feature has been added. All survivors will now automatically disconnect when facing The Legion, regardless of perks, addons, or the ability to play The Legion in the first place.

The Plague:
Unfortunately due to health concerns, The Plague has been removed. We will add her back after she has a sprite and some pepto bismol.

...feel free to add your own. I just added all of this because it's a waste of time and...and I'm childish.

You joke about the DS thing but it actually was a bug for a while that did that lol. Thankfully it did not last long in the game but it was there... ( I know Monto has video of it, same with Marth88. Think a bunch of others do too. )

I may or may not be referencing issues that DBD have had at times.

The Hatch now teleports Survivors to the nearest hook free of charge.

Generators breakdown after 2mins of the gates being powered, you then have to get more fuel which is stored in chests, however if you opened all the chests prior to this, they remain empty.

At which point you can repair the gens, but not power them up without the fuel to do so.

We've added the 2v8 you guys have desperately wanted. But this 2v8 is a dating sim where the survivors must repair the killers damaged relationships and get them to love each other again.

Yea they kinda did.

The thought I was having though was the survivors trying to date the killers... Was also thinking of just sticking to the originals.. But I would probably add a few of the female killers to even it out... Also there would be a surprise with one killer but that one should be obvious if anyone pays attention to some of the jokes I make about a particular character in DBD.

I am still not sure about actually doing this though at the moment. It would have to be text based as currently I do not have a way to do the artwork. >< Not unless I rip some artwork from somewhere and I do not want to do something like that.

New game mode added! There are no gens or gates. The hatch will spawn at the beginning of the match. No perks, no items. No healing. All four survivors will start the trial on the hook. One survivor has a guaranteed escape from the hook. It is now up to them to find the hatch or free the other survivors before the killer catches them. The 4% chance still stands. Normal hook rules apply, if you try to unhook 3 times you are now in final stage.
