Red twine addon

Isn’t this addon supposed to show the totem locations? I’ve used it on a green map and it does not show any totems.

I'm pretty sure you need to find the totem first, use map near it and only then you can track it.

Welp, that’s a news. When I used the addon before it showed the totems within certain radius even though I did not find them.

Either that or totems can only be tracked from an 8m distance without any range increasing add-ons. And it's completely possible that the totems you were trying to find were already cleansed, so their auras couldn't be shown.

Maps only work on things you've run within 8m of. Or further with add-ons or Deja Vu adds gens to your map. You will get the "Map Scout" points event each time something new is added to your map.

the rainbow map autotracks 3 random objects at the start of the round (could be 3 totems). thats why you probably remembered that maps should autotrack totems which isnt true for green maps
