Oni is not fun to play against
Once someone is injured its pretty much gg unless the killer is a complete potato. From then on he pretty much has super speed, no cool down when coming out of sprint and insta downs. Palette stuns don't even deplete his power.like Ghostface or Legion. He can snowball a game way too easily. Not fun to play against as survivor and way too easy as a killer.

Apparently. I solo queue as well. You have to pray you have a competent team.

And trust me, some SWFs aren't even competent. I've stomped a few in my time and they are usually quite salty afterwards.

??? Just loop him? As a solo surv i didnt find it annoying as a nurse or the spirit to play against.

No, in all honesty. Just hide out when you hear his roar. You can loop a jungle gym nicely, from him (if you're used to being chased) if he catches you in his sights. :whiteward:

yea loop him with his insane power length with barley any cool down

he's pretty weak at loops, try to exploit that. he's nto that strong if you avoid open spaces.
Deej10 6. Dez. 2019 um 16:45
Except he's stronger at loops than most killers. He can instantly smash the pallet then speed right up behind the survivor and insta down him. He's unfun to play against as a solo survivor and I've honestly no interest in playing him as killer as all I get is easy 4k games. I'd rather play as trapper as that at least takes planning and degree of skill.

That's why you loop around a gym instead. Don't rely on a palette drop. I have to assume youre in low ranks maybe? So just some practice makes perfect advice should be offered.
Oni is honestly rather balanced, than most killers, especially upon first release.

Like honestly he really is weak in this area, as Smeagol says here^ and especially at the gyms, just make sure you're paying attention to his direction, or he's just gonna catch you out of it.

Otherwise, most Oni's or any killer, will leave you alone because you're wasting their time. :) Good luck!
Munch 6. Dez. 2019 um 17:05
he is better bubba if you window loop the oni player will need to chase you like every other killer and like bubba he excels when you are out of position away from any pallets and windows and your only hope is to juke that's why the killers well balanced you need skill to play against him and is still pretty strong when you know how to play him in the first place. Killers are meant to be forces of fear and power not weak things the survivors can trample over
Deej10 6. Dez. 2019 um 17:15
Nah i'm not in low ranks. Been rank 1 as survivor and killer many times. This isn't a skill issue, its a matter of balance. Jungle gyms are in short supply in many maps and not all survivors use them effectively. Especially playing as solo survivors you'll mostly get uncoordinated players going down in seconds. At best you can waste some time but that's all you'll achieve. I'm not sure why that would be considered fun for anyone, even the killer. The gameplay is boring for both sides.

its not a killer problem its a "your team of randos are a bunch of dumbasses" issue

That's how DbD is suppose to play out. A single Survivor shouldn't be able to do all that much against the Killer. Stall for as long as you can, but you will die sooner or later.

It's up to you to lose the Killer, prevent him from finding you, make use of him finding someone else, or make him chase someone else. Survival isn't suppose to be easy. Sometimes you will simply die and sometimes you will escape. Can't win them all and gotta make due with what you got.
