Not sure leading a killer to your teammates on a gen will go down well or help the team achieve their objectives in the game. The other "strategies" I've seen is hide and don't get hit. Very hard to achieve against a killer that can zoom across the map in seconds.. Like I said previously 9 out of 10 games will have a survivor injured in the first minute or two at which point Oni becomes very over powered.
He really does need some balance adjustments. Getting hit with a pallet should bring him out of his power and he needs a longer cool down from goinf between his dash and one hit down attack,.
"Team"
That's where the problem is. Survivors arent a "team". They are just a group of people trying to survive. You can work together, or against each other. As long as you survive, nothing else matters.
DbD isnt a co-op game. Its co-optinal. You arent playing a 4v1 of us against the Killer. It's 4 1v1s at the same time of you against the Killer with randoms to use how ever needed. Be that for good or worse.
Your overall statement in the title doesn't make sense, as we could pinpoint everything that we don't like, and call it unfun to play as or against.
Honestly, he better won't get nerfed.
Cheating shouldn't be the solution.
That being said stealth works wonder against Oni.
Some folks have no idea how beneficial that voice chat is, when you can coordinate vocally across the entire map. I think as a team, at least one of you should be given a chance to survive, with whatever resources only the game provides you. Any more than one survivor escaping and I'd chalk it up to good team work and a good game.
You dont have to work as a team though. It's an option. If 1 person dies, the other 3 can use that to escape. In fact you WANT others to get caught and hooked in order to earn your emblems off of unhooks, healing, and rescues.
Survivors are encurged to treat other Survivors as a resource. One to be used as needed.
Co-optional. Sometimes survival means making sacrifices. Dont let it be you.
doesn't matter, it aint fun
if it aint fun = no player
