But he has more unbearable problems. They basically made a worse version of a ranged killer.
I could also go with Oni or Legion, but I don't hear the greatest things about them either.
he needs many buffs to be a mid-tier killer but at the moment he is clown-level without the insta down.
Pros: very FUN!!!!, applies deep wound on hit or the survivor frees himself, can catch a window looping survivors by pulling them back, can be good at short-loop pallets
Played him on Rank 1 and against him.
My view, it's fun to play and interesting mechanic.
Most potential I see when you know how to quick scope.
He is strong, but like all other existing killers, you get time problems with existing gen pressure and most of time you xan lose on wrong map and experienced SWF team against you.
Especially when survivors are trying to bait me into shooting them and I get a sudden quick shot on them, it's probably the most satisfied i've been playing killer in a while.
Another thing is if he harpoons a survivor while they vault, he doesn't start reeling until they complete the animation so you can imagine hooking them while they vault over a pallet and find out that they are on the other side, he should be able to pull survivors back while they vault.
I do also like he forces survivors to leave and not hang around the gate for fear of getting hooked.
