Survivors dying on first hook
You would think that killers would get awarded much more points with survivors dying on their first hook
Shouldn't that be a thing in the future update? An extra thousand points?

What are your thoughts on survivors commiting suicide on the first hook purposely?

Why? Do you even play survivor? The game is so glitchy, i've died on first hook or even 2nd hook due to the game not registering my spacebar. While this doesn't happen often it has happened enough that I think it's a game issue. Also, I will absolutely die on first hook against a toxic killer, camps, tunnels, and/or brings a mori and play toxic. Why give a toxic killer points. I play 50/50 but awarding a killer more points for a 1 hook sacrifice is foolish.

Killers are punished for ending the game too early. This includes survivors killing themselves on hook and, yes, survivors dying on hook because nobody came to save them, even if you're nowhere near that survivor.

Killers have a lot or arbituary rules they have to follow for more bloodpoints and optimal 'pips.' Meanwhile for survivors it is much more straightforward.

When I was trying to hit rank 1 as trapper without Ruin months ago, I either 4ked, or I 0ked, and with the exception of literally one game, I never got above Silver gatekeeper because the game ended too fast. I either killed them too fast, or they just escaped too fast.
There's many reasons you don't see red rank killers nowadays.

What do want the hooked survivor to do?
Three other teammates are all doing gens and the killer is camping (which is ok)
You think the killer should get extra points for this because the survivor died first hook?

If killer camps he loses points towards emblems. But you lose on points if the survivor just kills themselves which is stupid. If the killer isn't camping, and the survivor kills herself, the killer ought to get full BP along with progress towards iri emblem. Currently, either way the killer is punished for something completely out of his control.

Most of survivors suicide because they don´t like the killer or were hooked within first minute of match. Some people can think that if a killer camps, suicide is the best option. However, if you don´t suicide you make the facecamper waste his time. So, there are no reasons to suicide unless you are 15 years old kid mentality survivor. Suicide is a variation of DC and it must be punished.

What you gain is a one less survivor way ahead of schedule lol. Best thing you could possibly get

It's already a lot easier to earn bloodpoints with Killer than it is with Survivor. I feel like rewarding Killers for Survivor suicides would make the game sooo much drier especially for Survivor mains imo. Like, the game wouldn't be much fun anymore. 9/10 games would end way too quickly, more so with the Killers that are just downright annoying to play against (ex. Freddy, Spirit, Hag).

Survivors suicide because they a) don't want to play against said killer, b) trying to derank without DCing, or c) sheer mistake that their struggle button/key doesn't register.

I don't know, the game still has quite a bit of balancing issues and glitches that need to be worked on and giving the killer "suicide points" isn't one of those balancing solutions.

I mean, if my team aren't going to attempt to rescue me on first hook and I reach to 2nd stage, I'm not going to bother playing and just let the entity kill me, if they don't want to work as a team then they can lose a teammate and struggle with 3 people.

If my team are going to just farm me, I'm not going to bother playing since it's clear they don't want to work as a team and I don't want a team who don't want to work together... That's not teamwork.

Solo survivor problems. Slowly reaching second stage while your team mates do one of these:
1. Self Care in a corner (Bonus points if the killer has Sloppy Butcher)
2. Crouch around the map
3. Go in a locker for no reason and stay there for +20 seconds
4. Loop killer right next to you when you are in a hook
5. Try to hook tech and fail miserably
6. Farm you in killers face without BT.

Might just let go and get into the next game.

Ok

Then l suggest if you get slugged because the killer is searching for the last survivor for a 4K

Then the slugged survivor should get extra points, seeing they get nothing for lying on the ground

How bout that?

i dont think thats very fair. chances are you facecamped and expect to be rewarded for it. or it was a rank 20 who tried to jump off the hook as soon as he got on.

Those are the main and most frequent reasons I suicide on hook. It's never related to the killer, only to potato teammates.
why would you even want that? There are already waaaay too many face campers in dbd, extra points for survivors dying on their first hook would just ecourage more of this ♥♥♥♥♥ play style

3 Reasons I Can See Suicides:

1. Survivors don't like the killer
2. Killer has Mori- use to be this way before Ebony Rework
3. Survivor on hook doesn't think his team mates are gonna get him ie all 3 working on gens and not moving.

If Killer camps, then struggle till your dead. Gives your team mates time to do gens. In other words, run Kindred if your solo.
