Only being matched with russian players?

For the last couple of weeks like 9/10 games only match me with russian players.

Was wondering if they did some changes to the matchmaking system since it's usually always been pretty varied in which countries you get matched with.

Not many local players playing in your area while you're playing.

That, or its defaulting you to the Russian server since that's your closest server.

Definitely shouldn't be as I live in Sweden, just confused as to why there's such a huge influx of russian players recently.

It's not that there's a huge influx, it's more so that there's not enough match-ups in your's or their server that it's putting you folks together.

I'm connected to the Montreal, Canada server. I still get matched up with Europeans or sometimes even Chinese. So yes, it's a matter of how wide the search goes due to how many available players at the time are that aren't already in a match.

I play on the server of Frankfurt what i saw is it highly depends on which time you play.
If i play lets say from 15 o'clock (3 p.m) i mostly get matched with europeans.
But when i play at 02:00 o'clock (2 a.m) i'm mostly like as u said matched with russians.
Which would be pretty normal but not on the weekend.

For me from a Euro country, I often get matched with Russian players.
It only happens within a certain time of the day. This is expected as there are few Europeans playing and many Russian players.

This is fine. We both benefit. Russian players are not as bad as most people claim.
Sure most of them do not communicate in Englsh, but skill wise they are the same as anyone else. They are not more toxic either.

Im fine playing with Russian players in this game.

People think the 20k player base is a large number.

It would be if that number were regional.

Players forget that number is international.

There's no server in Russia and most of them are playing on German servers the same as you. I recommend to use VPN and move to UK.

Again people can modify their DNS records and connect region which they want.
