Lobby chat suddenly gone

I have no idea why but lobby chat has completely disappeared on me as of today. I can't see if anyone says anything and pressing enter doesn't bring up the "type here" box either. Anyone else having this issue as well?

It's probably just closed, click on the little chat icon bubble that is above the 5 slash marks & ready button.

When I click on it, it doesn't do anything.

Eh, might be bugged. Restart game, if it doesn't work, verify your files.

Ya, I did that. Verification said all files were normal. I guess the only thing I could do is reinstall. It's really not a big deal, just weird. Maybe yesterdays weekly reset messed something up. I dunno.

Check your GameUserSettings.ini file for the line "ChatDefaultVisibility=" which should be set to true.

You could also just delete GameUserSettings.ini with the game off, then start the game and it will create a new one with all defaults which has chat enabled. If that doesn't work then something else is buggered.

Edit: GameUserSettings.ini is hidden and located by default in C:\Users\UserNameGoesHere\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

I'm having the same issue i think i have end game chat but when i press on the bubble in lobby nothing happens

it's a bug, it happened to me before. it came back after a few games.
