One thing I had to learn that when GF looks over cover it is no use to expose him by looking at his face. An insurance mechanic the devs had to put in so the entire side-peak mechanic would not be redundant.
I've had a bunch of folks complain that they couldn't break me out of stealth when I didn't have my shroud up. They call him broken because they stood in the middle of a field and let me just slap them without doing anything to avoid it.
1 play with mark: essentially you mark someone and try to downing that survivor just like you said
2 play like a wraith without cooldown, in that case you can be more dangerous (and made more points cause you won't instadown anyone)
Meh,not buying this unless all the people that harass you are grey-yellow ranks.I love playing as GF and against him and he is not the killer that usually collects salt. They probably comment on your profile for you own playstyle and not because of GF.
Sometimes ill flip the camera and he'll just get it anyways.
I'm glad to see that people have been complaining about him since even two years ago. That's all I have to say before this old thread gets locked.
survivors hate it
Con about going against him, if you're not marked there is a 50/50 chance that you can't break him out of his stealth. It's a weird hiccup that is kind of aggravating. Otherwise fun imo.
Play who you wanna play and don't worry about salty survivors. We all get a little salty sometimes. As others have said just turn off post-game chat. I know this is hard to do, I like saying ggwp! and telling everyone to have an awesome day, even when I lose.. but some times it's just not worth the mental gymnastics to read.
Once you are 99 stalked as a survivor - even if you realised you got stalked - there is nothing you can do. If you try to get in his way to take a hit he just waits a few seconds for his power and you are toast. He can quite literally stalk you in the beginning of the match, get looped for 5 gens where you dont see him and then you get downed at the end with no interaction with the killer whatsoever.
I understand the grudge people have against him, but that ofc is no reason to be toxic about it
