people complaining about skins price
yes this is real

a few days ago devs maade aa poast about new demogorgon skin, besides common complains about balaance/bugs/optymalization, some people were saying that price for 1 skin is to much.

and i don't want to be consider a choosingbegger but i tbh agree.

idk what is price of 1100 auric pack becoes there is difrent money in my country (no $ or Euro).
so i'm gonna try to do this as simple as i can

1.i have a friend that plays dbd for ps4. and on ps4 price for the same amout of aurics is higher than on pc.
2.i don't remember when we did get green (cheaper) skin in schop (except for thoes when new DLC comes out or from rift)
3. if you gonna buy 1100 paack you can't even get a skin made of difrent parts
4. compered to other sales, skin sales are realy rarely, and we didn't ever had a auric sale, it was only specific skins
5.on one of last steam seals i had problem with deciding what should i buy, i wanted steve skin, but i when i saw a sale i did get DLC's for that money (letherface, ghostface and legion). 3 dlc=1 skin isn't a good deal

my idea how to fix it:

change aurics in packs like: 800 insted of 500 (2 skin pices), 1600 insted of 1100(1 skin+ pice of another) ect. while leaving price as it is

add comunity skin workshop (i probobly gonna do a separated poast for that). baisicly: players can do litterly ANY skin (bloody, legacy, from files, simple recolor, og, fan made, joke, hsfw, with things like bag, ect.), only players that have that skin subscribed 4free could use/see it (other players won't). devs would have easier with skin, becoes they would add original skins to the ofical store, and authors would get some profit out of it, between 50%-100% (in aurics/shards)

what do you think?

Expensive skins fund the continuous content for the game.

Before the release of the Store, they had to make DLC packs, that if there was only a single item in them you wanted, you had to pay for the full package.

Before the release of the Store, the only way to get DLC characters was to purchase their full DLC. Now, the paid cosmetics allow them to offer us the ability to obtain all (non-licensed) characters for free with a handful of Iridescent Shards.

I'd much rather have the DLCs be cheaper then the skins. I have no interest in buying cosmetics, so their high prices don't bother me.

A Community Skin workshop is very unlikely to happen. Only way I could see it happening is if people submitted ideas and the developers chose which ones they would officially implement into the game.

that's true and i know it, thoes times were bad where killers like hag had 2 full outfits (regular and bloody) and doctor had 3 (same but +black version). i know that skins=money, money=fixing bugs/content. point is, that's not me, it's them (small part of comunity)
