The killer shouldn't be able to close the hatch
Killers seriously have too much intel as it is. BBQ is a free "I know where everyone is on the map" literally a wall hack.

So if I'm the last alive, how is it fair that he gets to close the hatch? The killer is way faster and can find hatches better than a survivor can. Once he closes the hatch, it's game over. There's no way I can escape against a killer who played this game for more than 1 hour.

No killer will ever allow an escape unless the door spawns are incredibly far, which is rare. I get to 99% often, but the killer will usually have NOED or get a hit in before I open it, just barely making it.

I feel that once they close the hatch, the time to open doors should be reduced by 50%- so I can actually have a chance to escape.

thanks

You can hide from BBQ, or fake it out.

If the killer put in enough effort to get the 3k, why are you entitled to a free escape?
No. Killers being able to close the hatch is a good thing. Whoever finds it first gets the win. The EXIT GATES, however, should not be spawning on the same wall or being adjacent to one another.

BBQ and chill shouldn’t reveal the aura of survivors who’ve already been hooked or it shouldn’t reveal survivors who’re in dying state. We have deer stalker for that.

Yes, because BBQ has no counters what so ever and the killer can just use it whenever they want. No wait, they have to catch and hook a survivor and even then the survivor has to be like 30 metres away and not in a locker. If you're gonna complain on the forums about BBQ at least come with the knowledge that it is the easiest thing in the world to counter. You must have like 10 hours in this game.

As for the hatch, if the killer couldn't close it we'd literally go back to what the game was a year ago, two players standing at a hatch waiting for the other one to do something. If the game has gotten to the point where you're the last one alive and the hatch has been closed then you have lost. If you manage to get the door open kudos to you but at that point the game is designed to kill you, not give you a third chance at escaping.

If killers can't close the hatch, then survivors shouldn't be able to use it

How many free escape opportunities do you want?

You seem to forget that the existence of the hatch is 100% survivor sided, the killer gets no benefit from the existence of the hatch. You can completely fail your objective, hide in a corner and wait for your team mates to all die and STILL you get a potential free escape through the hatch!

So no, no way.

Without mentioning that if you find a key, you can open it again

If the killer closes hatch, open gate. You ever played this game?
Killers shouldn't be able to kill
Zeth Feb 3, 2020 @ 12:21am
Also I’m guessing you have never heard of a key? Killer can’t close the hatch if it’s already closed....

There are actually survivors out there that think moris aren’t fair yet keys are. “That’s different” Yeah you have to actually play the game to use a mori and to use a key you just have to wait till someone dies and get some gens done..... Get this you can open the hatch back up after it’s been closed by the killer with a key....
