Bioshock Big Daddy as a Killer.
Bioshock's Big Daddy.

Perhaps the drill is similar to Leatherface's Chainsaw, except it has one multidown thrust instead of 4 swings. So survivours that "take a hit" for an injured survivour would be downed and so would the injured one. This could atleast alieviate late game escapes, via taking hits for other survivours. A sort of mix of Demo leap and Bubba Chainsaw.

As for the plasmid. It could be a ranged attack of sorts, but like Adam, it would need to be charged first, maybe similar to Oni. Maybe addons could change the plasmid power to ones that were in the game.

It's interesting to think of anyway.

Edit: Electricity could slow survivours. Fire could put them in a mend-like state. Bees could make them scream like doctor's madness. Scarecrow could leave a copy of him with a terror radius as the real body hunts.

The addon would dictate which plasmid it'd be during the match.

Edit: Hell. Even Ice could perhaps freeze a gen like Corrupt Intervention. for a period. Certainly useful late game. Guard 2 gens instead of 3 for a time.

"The Diver"

A Hulking Killer, able to oppress survivors through unstoppable force utilizing a massive suit to plow through obstacles and harness the power of mutagenic substances to confuse and horrify fleeing survivors.

His personal perks, Bouncer, Guardian and Hex:Grim Harvest, punish survivors who sabotage hooks and enhance his power as assets are stripped away, making him a dangerous late game threat.

Bouncer: "The Tyrant looks upon the world, saying: “All of this is mine.” And by force or guile, he makes it so. To the Tyrant, the whole of creation is held in the relative — sun and moon revolve for him alone. For the Tyrant, even Justice is whimsy — he alone is fit to weigh, to measure... And to cut." - Sofia Lamb
Your slavery to forces beyond your control drives you to uncontrollable rage at those who would threaten that which is under your charge.
Each time the Survivors complete repairs on a Generator, Bouncer grows in power.
For each Generator completed, gain a stack-able 0.5/1/2 second decrease to time required to activate Bloodlust during a chase.

Guardian: "Driven by an instinctual imperative to protect, his rage grows with every misstep."
A seething hatred of failure unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability.
Gain a notification when a survivor initiates a Sabotage action. When completing a sabotage action, the survivor's aura is revealed to the killer for 4/8/12 seconds. Guardian can only be triggered once every 45 seconds.

Hex: Grim Harvest: “Mr. Bubbles, Mr. Bubbles, are you there? Are you there? Come and give me lollies, come and bring me toffees. Teddy bears… teddy bears.” - Little Sister
A Hex rooted its power on determination. Infused with ADAM, Hex Totems free their power when broken by careless survivors and grant strength and determination to the killer.
For each Dull Totem remaining on the Map gain a Token. Each time a Dull Totem or Hex Totem is cleansed, lose a token and gain a 1/2/3% stackable decrease to power cool-downs and special hit recovery speeds. The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing

Power: Promethean Might
Spliced with metal and power, The Alpha Series was made to be a terrible weapon and a dutiful guardian, but was ultimately doomed to end in madness and bloodshed.

Special Attack - Drill Dash: Press and hold the Power button to charge Drill Dash and release to lunge forward at blinding speed while spinning your drill. Drill Dash consumes Promethean Might tokens on activation, but can immediately destroy pallets with a quick recovery. Hitting a Survivor with Drill Dash causes them to suffer Considerably from the Mangled status effect. Releasing the button early will cancel the action.

Special Ability: Plasmids: Press and hold the Active Ability button to charge and activate a Plasmid Ability. By default, The Diver's Plasmid Ability is Insect Swarm, unleashing a blob of insects that home in and chase the nearest survivor within your Terror Radius and sting them, causing them to scream and revealing their location to you. Insects will swirl around affected Survivors for 5 seconds after stinging them, making it more difficult to hide. Tremendously decreases Skill Check success zones and considerably increases Skill Check chances while under the effects of Insect Swarm.
Add-ons can change the type of Plasmid used.

Weapon: Bouncer's Drill

What do you think? I was thinking of how to make him feel like he could be an actual playable character. Might do more with the idea with a little feedback.

Huh. That's actually a pretty interesting suggestion. I'm currently working on a little project in my free time for a pen and paper RPG adaptation of DbD and it could be interesting to have Big Daddy as a potential Killer. Do you have any ideas as to how they could work in the context of DbD?
Shadow Esper 30 ENE 2020 a las 10:07 p. m.
Well. If I had to think about it. Big Daddy's are known for two things. Plasmids and the Drill.

But ... big daddies ain't no killers!

They only protect their little sisters and strike when being attacked.

DBD setting (dragging four strangers onto a map to hunt them) just doesn't match their lore.

Shadow Esper 30 ENE 2020 a las 11:47 p. m.
Simple. Big Daddy's go in a rage when the little sister is in danger. It'd be simple enough for the entity to convince the big daddy the survivours are splicers.

Reminds me that I played Bioshock 1 and 2 the other day for a nostalgia run. It would be interesting to see the Big Daddy concept in Dead by Daylight.

Sounds like you're talking about Delta.. But he isn't really a bad guy. Would he really fit in as a killer?
Shadow Esper 31 ENE 2020 a las 12:06 a. m.
Delta killed a lot of people. But the sphere head Big Daddy is much more iconic. And they slaughtered many splicers.

And the Entity looks for people who can be good killers.

Also. Delta does have an Evil route where he kills everyone. So he is both a good and bad guy. But that could be a cosmetic option. To be Regular Big Daddy or Delta.

Hell, could even get a Big Sister Cosmetic at some point.

They don’t have to be.

Killers that are less willing to do the entity’s bidding such as the wraith and the nurse have been brainwashed into being amoral killers.

Mmmmmh nope

The big daddies ain't no killers, they are more like protector of childrens, so why a big daddy will chase and kill a helpless girl or man?

Remember this, in Bioshock the big daddies attacks you only if you start a fight with them

Again, the Entity can force a killer to be more...murderous. And for Big Daddys, only really need to convince it that the survivours mean harm to a little sister.

The Entity force to murder for him, but they are that, cold-blooded killers in real life in first place.

What its the point of forcing a person to kill someone if he don't want to do it in first place?

And who will be the survivor in case of a Bioshock DLC become true?

Eh. Ghostface and leather face didn't have survivours. Ash and Bill didn't have Killers.

I know you will say something like that.

i allways think the Ash and Bill compensate the ausence of survivor for Ghostface and Leatherface. IMO

just cause it happened twice, doesn't mean it can't happen a 3rd time.
