protection hit

so what exactly counts as a protection hit? Getting a hit when a survivor is next to me doesn't do it.

U jneed to get hit whilst killer is CARRYING another survivor, that counts! Despite not protecting anything or anyone, only progressing the struggle bar a bit.

Devs F'd up quite a bit when it comes to describing quests and dailies, doesn't always match up the action required!

It's meant to work, and it's worked for me a few times but it can be a little finicky bc devs can't make things that work properly

Sometimes I get the protection hit if i get the hit with a nearby injured survivor very close. Then if they are carried and if they hooked. If they on the hook, sometimes even if you far away you get the protection hit.

So true. I've literally unhooked someone, ran behind them, tanked a hit for them, and it didn't give a protection hit. I'm sure other people have also noticed randomly getting "assist" points when someone gets hit on the other side of the map for no reason. I feel like that doesn't make any sense, but there could be a reason behind it.

If you mean the ''Bodyguard'', it's literally saying in the description the killer needs to be carrying the survivor.

If u only want the achievement, u can also run BT + WGLF. (Maybe a good medkit and empathy)
Tank hits while the killer is Carring someone (heal urself up quickly) and unhook safely (which is 'kinda' easy with bt x) )
thats how I completed the achievement :o
getting Protection Hits in general seems Kinda weird, sometimes u get one for nothing and sometimes u can litterally jump infront of the killer for saving someones ass and don't get one xD

I think it's when you take a hit near an injured survivor. When I say near I mean like almost next to it.

From my personal experience i noticed that i didn't get it when i got downed while protecting, only if i am at full health and take a hit (or with borrowed time on you, mettle of men, purple medkit addon).
