Some maps might screw you however over, somethign like backwater swamp because the map is so fricking huge, you will take forever to get fro one end to another.
That's however not a design fault in the add-ons, it's simply a design fault in the map.
Overall the maps should be really close together in size (for balancing reasons) but for some reason they are very different. Because of this the developers screwed the balance over multiple stuff, pigs tampered timer is barely the tip of this iceberg.
The real issue here is the person did not go try to get the RBT off their head like they should have and it went off. So they complain about something that was their own fault. Hell with the way the game is currently set up its really just their fault for getting it on their head in the first place.
Uh oh, special boy alert
It was on haddon field. I ran for the boxes as soon as i possibly could, I started with 1 near my hook when I got unhooked, and another that was a little nearby, but the other 3 were practically on the other side of the map. I didn't even get noticed by the pig in that time, but my head popped halfway through the second to last box.
I spend less than a few second getting healed under the hook by someone with We'll Make it, and a few more seconds taking cover as the pig was chasing somebody else, but other than that there were no delays. Clearly you are talking out of your ass.
Also nice "just don't get caught" meme, good to know people still find that joke funny. "just break the pallet" hehe
Here's a question that will prove her traps are underpowered. How many people here have ever had their head pop? Out of about 20 traps on mine, it has never happened.
Honestly I've had matches where it feels like I'm not even using the addons with how fast survivors still get the traps off. I can only think of 1 match where these addons actually helped and that was only because the last gens were near 2 boxes that survivors didn't search yet so I got 2 head pops that match.
Really? not just crossing the street, I mean going down the map on the long side. I was about 3/4th away from the end, plus I had to cross the street while somebody was getting chased, not to mention one of the traps was on top of the roof in a house so It took the time to climb the house and then jump back down
it was litterally a few seconds getting healed, if you're honestly telling me to run to a trap box without getting healed, you must have never played survivor before. A good pig WILL see you going for a box, and WILL go after you. Most of the time people just get sacrificed, so thier traps never get a chance to go off. if you've only been trapped "about 20 times", you really don't play against the pig often.
You can see there's extra boxes only when you've already been trapped, and there's no way of knowing you have a tampered timer until the clock is half way up, and that's only by your own memory
When I play vs. Pig - I ALWAYS able to remove the trap on my last attempt. ALWAYS!
Explain.
It could just all be perspective.
This may not be the case for you, but matches always feel faster to me as a killer, and longer to me as a survivor. So when I am running around trying to remove a trap, everything feels like it takes forever, and it takes me 3 or so boxes to get it off. But when I play as the Pig, everything feels sped up. It may only feel like they searched just one box, but they may have already searched 3, and everything just felt like less time while hunting/chasing/etc.
The whole point of traps is to waste survivor's time anyway, not to kill them with the traps.
Tampered timer doesnt even do anything unless all 5 gens have been completed anyway. Just have your friends exit and you can use the hatch w/o even bothering with a single jigsaw box.
That is unless your friends are trolling you and sitting on a 99% gen waiting for you to get a trap on... Are your friends trolling you?
