Is the pig worth buying?

I have been looking into the pig, and she seems really fun to play. Do you guys think I should buy her? (I already have Myers)

She has free Insidious when she crouch down (counter to Borrowed Time) and mini-ruin (it can be a solid Ruin, if survivors are not lucky and dont instantly take your traps off). Running speed is ok (4,6m/s) but she has realy nothing to help her in chase, so she is looped as all medium and low tier killers, unless you have perks to help you in chase or you manage to get a hit with ambush attack.The best part of her is that her traps deny escape from exit gates. The trap kill, if you try run through exit gates. It make her the best tunneler and the most unforgiving killer.

Edit: Shes not good for new players. She "can" be fun for experienced players, because you need experience to win chases.

Shes a great A teir killer, she has a decent tool to use in chase and has the potential to slow the game a considerable amount, she can also pull people of gens. I recomend watching pyrus'es guide on her.

Why? Pig isnt unplayable and fun for stealth type of players, which doesnt mean that we stealth 90% of the time. You have an option to quit a chase any time and make an ambush and pigs stealth ability can improve your chances to do it, BUT as Bricky mentioned- the biggest question is, if killers power can help them in chase, and against good players it wont.

I play survivors equally or more than killer, and noone ever managed to pull me off a generator. 500h+. Spirit has the best opportunity for it, but I have yet to experience it. :) "A" tier? Without powers to help her with map control, or insta-down power, or a tool to win chases much easier, I dont see how she is A tier. Unless "A" is not top tier in your list.

most pigs are like hags, 90% of them are awful and dont actualy know how to play the killer, for example as pig its best to NOT use ambush to actualy ambush, but to crowch up to a gen (from behind walls or other LoS break objects) unseen, and simply stand up, from this:
*you may outright get a grab
*you get a free hit like from an ambush

the difrecence being here is unlike an ambush if SB happens it dosent ♥♥♥♥ you anywhere near as hard, because, ether:
*A. your so close that you get the hit regardless of SB before the can react
*B. you miss, but the punish is FAR less than if you ambushed as you have far less of a CD

ambush is normaly used in chases, and paired with pigs natraly small stature shes actualy not awful in chases like most think, ether using buffed conventonal mindgames (thx to size she does these better than other killers, barring freddy whos also small), or using her dash to form unique mindgames with some suprisingly strange mechanics such as the "moon dash" where you dash in reverce but look forward, example: https://www.twitch.tv/psychoscorpionz/clip/VainAnnoyingTarsierLitFam

also the reasion standing up is better than ambush for the first hit is due to pigs tr not instantly coming back in (it fades in/out over 3 seconds when she stands up/down) giving you about a second of no tr to grab with, it has nearly no audible que (unlike ambush roar) and is very hard to react to if your not seen (by uncrowching from behind a wall)
