Does the hatch spawn only downstairs in The Game map?

It only spawns on the bottom level, correct. Since the map is like a labyrinth, it can be tricky sometimes to find the hatch. And to be clear, did you do at least 2 gens before searching for it or just couldn't find it after it spawned?

Ground level in all maps (the Level at the top of the basement stairs)

[NOTE: The berm around the Swamp and the top of the Hills count as the level of where their base start, so the hatch can be higher than head height]

[PS - as Killer, I have looped around looking for the Hatch with the last survivor for over 15 minutes in some maps and never found it, I think there is a bug where the Hatch is not 100% guaranteed to Spawn some times]

oops, Freddy's map, can spawn in the Basement (By Freddy's Hideout) or up on the Grass...

Hatch does not spawn on upper level but can spawn either on bottom level or basement level (not killer basement) -- as in Springwood basement basement level.

I also agree with Billy I think there's a bug where the hatch doesn't always spawn 100%. There are times I just can't find it, and believe me I go through almost the entire map until I get caught by the killer.

Sometimes it spawns in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ corner surrounded by walls. So you only get the sound when your basicly on top of it
