As a killer: If I made the survivor so afraid of me, that they aren't willing to t-bag at the exit gates and wait for me even if they have the means to escape. I prefer having a 3k game where we race to the hatch though.
Edit: Killing 1-2 people is okay. Especially if they were the super try hard loopers.
But If i only get 2k, and after the game I found out I killed the 16 and 18 rank, but the 8 and 6 got away, I just feel bad. I'd rather demolish their high tier friends, then pick on people new to the game. Sadly, they removed seeing ranks in lobby, so I can't target the better players anymore. :(
Survivor : Pip is the win. You're not supposed to Survive very often, maybe half your matches... if you're lucky. That means it's balanced that for 2 Die, 2 Live every single match.
I hate the idea of multiple winners. That ♥♥♥♥ is stupid.
Then again, last time I said that, people told me to quit the game because "If you're not playing to win, then uninstall and vanish from this community" (It was to be harsher, but I fluffed it up)
As survivor = Depends... sometimes i feel like sacrificing myself for the team while "The Bodyguard" theme plays in the background is worth it and other times i say "forget this, i'm leaving" and i focus only on gens
A hatch escape does NOT feel as a win to me
Gates closed: killer wins
If a survivor could have left through the gates, they've won in my mind. Everything afterwards doesnt count. 1 kill when the gates got opened, but 4k'ed because they suicide to the hook -> Still a loss and a 1k in my books.
I killed two and put atleast 1 more on a hook... I think that’s a win for me personally despite the emblem system no longer supports it. If the killer is defensive then expect less chases from them, if they’re offensive then expected them to be poor at defending (sadly nurse is good at both encouraging some players to play her defensively once they’re ahead)
I killed 4? That’s a double pip.
Depends on my role as a survivor
I didn’t get to touch a gen but wasted a lot of time... I think I earned atleast 1 pip.
I did a load of gens and didn’t get caught? I think a deserve a pip.
I couldn’t waste a lot of the killer’s time nor do gens? Depip.
I couldn’t do enough gens but escaped? Depip.
I did gens and kept the killer busy? Double pip.
Rescuing and escaping are too luck based and simple to define how skilled a survivor is.
That’s why you see a lot of not so great survivors at the top.
- Complete BBQ stacks
- 3+ kills (4 if I'm going for an achievement)
- max BP in deviousness, hunting and brutality
- 6k+ BP in sacrifice
