This is one of the best answers yet. There is another movie out there that they referenced. Maybe somebody can remember.

It is inspired by the "Sunny Family Cult" and it is a cult of killers that wear visually similar masks and clothes. Pretty interesting if you were to ask me.

The purge maybe and there exist also a horror movie there a masked guys kills his chat-friends from the internet, but I have sadly forget the name of that movie.
