DBD 2
So... will we get DBD 2 next year or we will keep the same game for next year?
I mean new content is fine but game is getting pretty stale as it isn't getting any new modes and individual games don't provide that much veriaty.

DBD has only been out for like 2 years and BHVR is exactly a huge studio so I doubt they would put out a sequel so quickly. I wouldnt expect to see DBD 2 within the next 2-3 years.

While killers are fun, survivor gameplay stays awfully dull, don't you think?

In that case they just need to add more to make it fun. It remains stale on both sides due to lack of variety. What is needed is to find more ways to keep survivors on their toes, and give them new objectives to both slow the game, and give the killers some more tools with which to make survivors allways are of whats going on.

As was previously said changes can happen to the game to spice up gameplay. The Hollowed Blight event is a great example. While the event definitely had some downsides with how it was structured and executed I would call it a very interesting time for DBD.

Can't see a DbD 2 happening anytime soon, not with Deathgarden flopping so hardcore on them. They're going to need DbD's cash shop/DLC to help shoulder the cost of Deathgarden's total overhaul that is now underway.

Honestly, DBD2 might not be the greatest idea. Why would you want to play DBD2, when it will start out with only 4 killers and will take forever to get new content. DBD has 13 Killers, a slew of perks and survivors, plus lots of maps. DBD2 would seem like a downgrade to the current game. They should possibly think about doing a major expansion to the game every year, as well as 4x killer packs. Something that adds new rules to the game, maybe an expansion that doesn't have pallets, lockers or gens but something totally different.

They will milk this game and broken engine for looooooooong looooong time to come.
Just to build up lets say same DBD like now in new Frostbite engine lets say will take years.

they might do like league of legends/WoW etc. Do a big graphic overhaul. I doubt we will ever see DBD2 unless DBD become a ghost town.

yea. But i just think that choice for DBD originally was to cheap out as much as possible to save money. So i guess potential even for TEXTURE..... just by looking at settings at Video

Low->Ultra only thing diferente is some lvl of sharpness on texture's and Fog/Mist look's VERY NICE. Other from that it is same.

Seriously that is all this game needs IMO to go through the roof in terms of player count. Well...Bug fixes too.

My idea for Dead By Daylight 2

Killers are way more stronger, but it's 1 v 5

foop it lets give both sides G U N S !
(obviously the killer gets the better weapons)

Survivors can now Jump.... AND AND, they can jump verily high.
Survivors are now called runners


Dead by Daylight is a Puzzie name... HOW about Death Garden. (DEATH IS EXTREME!! GARDENS ARE HUGE!! HUGE DEATH!! HUGE DEATH!!)

I worked very hard on this... I hope ya'll like my idea. some say it'll be terrible and no one will want to play it, and it will fail immediatly day 1. But I have faith in it.
