So, why is it that a streamer like JenDenise don't get banned for leaving games
But non-streamers do? She blatantly does this to stay out of red ranks. How is she not banned yet?

So far, in my experience, streamers in general seem to be a toxic bunch. I guess they do it for the views or to prove how ‘gud’ they are. And most of them either don’t stick around for the after game chat or they stay to throw slurs and taunts… but, whatever.

On topic: I don’t know this streamer that you are talking about, but just today I have had three different twitch streamers DC in my matches… all on their first down.

I believe that something needs to be done about DCers as they not only deny the killer the sport/points, but it really does hurt their teammates as they become a man down very quickly. When I play killer and someone DCs, I normally lighten up a bit on the rest.

Maybe not ban them outright for the odd infraction… hell, I have been DCed because of faulty connections. But, maybe give them a time out period. 5 mins for the first one, then 10 mins, 20 mins, ect. Doubling each time, until the daily reset. Then back to normal. That would cut some slack to the accidental DC, but punish those that DC too often.

That being said, I was a bit salty today (I admit) after the second one DCed in a match and the next group I got was a SWF Twitch Stream group (and they were a cocky bunch with the taunts and flashlights)… there were no survivors.

PS: I just believe that Twitch Streamers should hold themselves to a higher standard… they are showing others how to play the game or whatevet. /rant

Imagine it in actually good competitive game like a fighting game, whenever your hp bar goes below 30% you leave the game and you lose nothing for it.

I guess devs don't care about dc's.
They could have done something semi-punishing for it, like making the body of the dc guy to stay in the game so killer can down and hook him and get points for it which would in turn prevent ragequits that open the hatch for others.
And for the guy that did ragequit, he can't queue up until game he left finishes.

That would decrease amount of ragequits by huge amount and devs wouldn't have to bother to think about way to punish it.

She dc's after completely dominating the killer.

But but but the game is killer sided! Waah

Leave bans are based on % of played games. Sadly devs allow abysmal dc rate so there is no wrong doing in terms on rules.

She still should get punished for it.
Dc is a dc

Once DC per mtch is 100% DC rate for that survivor.

you have to dc 80% of your games to get a ban so its impossible to get banned for dcing

She play a lot. Its % based not # based.

simple, either they dont DC enough OR they do get special treatment because essentially they make Behavior money via exposure.

Makes sense to me atleast.

Its a ratio as others have pointed out, it has no bearing on who they are as its an automatic process, DCing to derank generally does not give you enough for a ban if they are smart about it, its simple maths.

I would say since she if a fog whisperer they shuld really have a quiet word and ask her not to do it as it sets a bad example for the userbase.

Wait 40min to play rank1 as a killer? No thanks. They can ban me for dc. But this is their fault, not mine.

Bro, at some point everyone wants to derank. Waiting for 10 minutes until lobby fills out or meeting the same people over and over gets obnoxious and boring after few games. I can't blame her for deranking. People deranking just proves you that we need casual mode in game.

I was talking from a Killers perspective.

1 DC per match is 1 out of 4 Survivors.

For a Killer, this means 100% of the matches include a DC but technically only requires each Survivor to DC once every 4 matches (25%) - not enough for anyone to get banned if the DCs are somewhat split across the playerbase.

Not a realistic scenario but technically that's what the rules allow. A Killer or Survivor could face a DC every single match and no one would get punished, ever.

yeah in theory but this would never happen in real scenario unless same killer faces same swf all the time and they collaborate

....which is exactly why I said technically but thanks for pointing out the obvious.

Reality is 1 DC every 2nd match which is still ridiculously awful but no one seems to care.
But even talk about hypothetical scenarios that never happen. I dont get 1 DC every 2nd match. maybe 1 in 4 matches.

Is this DC game ratio of 35% based on all games played ever by your account ? Games of the day ? The week ?
