Probably not the near future don't be getting your hopes up about being able to play cross platform any time soon. But maybe within the year of 2020 after Dedicated Servers have for the most part been successfully implemented and all the other features / projects they're working on are completed like DBD mobile, then cross play and cross progression will come our way. AKA Possibly within the year of 2020 or maybe even as far as early 2021 is what we're looking at I bet
Unless they've got some super secret part of the dev team which has made these huge strides in these areas that the devs have not informed the community about, which I suppose is hypothetically possible. But as far as I'm concerned they haven't exactly started on it yet
