dpi and sens wont make you a better killer... since its is a opion based thing

It's whatever you're most comfortable with.

I personally play with 3200 dpi. That's what works for me.

I play with like 1000, sadly. but on my mouse I play 3000

That much?
I play with 800 DPI, and that's a lot.
400 DPI is the standard, which the majority of the experienced players use.

By my opinion - In MW2, I have sensitivity to set to the lowest possible value, but with 4000 DPI? I don't know... probably to some value around 0,3 - 0,05...
But, here in DbD settings is no value, just the percentages.. So, I don't know.

There's really no point in messing around with DPI. Unless you're playing with a rock, you can hit pretty much anything.

The only thing you can do is get better through time.

DPI doesn't play any role, unless you play Huntress (Since she requires well aiming), most other killers can hit as much as you have survivors on your screen. Sometimes auto-aim can screw you up (In rare cases, doesn't happen often) - Basically make you hit some random object instead of survivor, but that's not DPI problem, that's game's problem.

Unless they have recently added auto aim, there is only target priotization, not auto aim. The camera realigns with what you hit, giving the "snapping" impression and making it seem like you auto aimed. On Freddy, the target prioritization screws up and cannot tell what's actually a hit, snapping your camera to survivor not in dream state.

My guess is it checks to see if weapon=hitbox of survivor if so -> realign camera.

This is what causes the crazy twirling if you've ever tried to hit a survivor being sacrificed to the entity and had your camera go crazy.

Have you tried hitting survivors near the hooked one? There is 50-50% chance that you gonna hit hooked one, and that's not a new bug. Also I could swear from time to time, for some reason my game decides to hit object istead of survivor. Hit detection is definitelly weird, but thank God it doesn't happen often.

Yeah, survivors on hook still have a hitbox, so the game cannot differentiate between the two.

It's probably the same with objects. They have larger hitboxes than what appears, so your camera gets "sucked" to the tree or pallet you just hit.

I think, during 360s, the player with hella high DPI could have some big troubles, because the more DPI you have, the more sensitive the mouse is...
It is a fact, that it needs to be properly learned, to take a time to understand, how would the mouse move and how big impact it will have, but with that high DPI, some angles or certain distances can be impossible to reach.

I use 2000-4000 dpi for huntress. 2000 for everything else. Works fine imo
