Any point leveling past level 40?
So i just got my first charecter to level 40 and unlocked all 3 of their skills.

So my question is, what is the point of leveling past level 40?
At this point do i level someone else or is there something i'm missing and should push on to level 50?

I've heard the level 50 bloodweb refreshes when you finish it so you can get more perks and addons. I've also read that prestige resets character progress, unlocks a customization piece, and increases odds for higher rarity nodes in the bloodweb.

You maxed out that character's unique perks, ok, but you didn't get ALL perks. You know that once you unlock them in the bloodweb(the orange perk icon) you can get that perk with all other character's, right? You're not supposed to use only that character's unique perks.

After lvl 50 you just keep getting new bloodwebs and it stays as lvl 50. I heard that about prestiging as well but I don't really wanna let go of all of my perks just for some skins.

Need 50 to prestige , also can’t get all the good perks in 50 bloodwebs usually .

I don't think a high prestige it's a good way to use your bloodpoints. It's cool the skins you get and for some characters make your game a little easier, since the skins it's more dificult to see in some maps, but it's a lot of BD and at beginning I think it's better if you use to disblock the other characters unique perks. I've already read that in prestige 3 it's more easy to get betters perks and add-ons, but I put Claudette on P3 and still not getting Urban Evasion lvl 3, and I already use a lot BD ): So I don't know if this is true.

It prioritizes low level perks. Get your low leveled ones out of the way so more rare perks can show up.

A priority should be to level all characters to lvl 40 and learn all teachables.
Then, if you don't have right perks for builds you imagine, prestige him once and try to get them (teachables are now in web)
Bloody cosmetics are cool in my opinion, but perks play bigger part in your relevancy, so if you don't have farming character, don't prestige.
Prestige increases % of higher tier addons/items. By small margin, but noticeable in p3.

If you plan to lvl up past lvl 50 to get good addons and all perks it's better to prestige first.

one point to add:
priority should be given to leatherface/David King, as their perks allow faster farm = faster lvl of characters.
Hag/Claudette for meta perks

ps: you can see the paywall for killers, right? :D

Make sure you don't unlock useless perks, it'll screw you over hard. You can always learn the teachable in that characters bloodweb if it ever becomes relevant.

Indeed, the more you unlock the harder it becomes to get the perks you want (rng) on a survivor/killer.

planning to prestige all my killers when new killer comes out. got unlockable perks for everyone but because i leveled up a lot of the earlier characters a long time ago most dont have the newer killer perks. plan to power level spirit with saved points and see if i can get her perks for all the rest of my killers as some seem quite good. also a heads up both perks and items get used up on prestige so might as well use the good ones up now before you lose them
