Would auric cells be better worth spent on a skin rather than the rift?

Just curious, I have 1100 auric cells, I do not care for the battle pass the more I look at it. Sure, it does have some good clown cosmetics, but as a killer main I don't see that it's worth it besides all the charms you'll get.

I was thinking of maybe getting a skin for Oni since they look real cool, but I don't think Oni is the best killer ever, or that I'd play him a ton. He is one of my favorite to play right now though.

Normally, I'd go for a nurse skin but I dont like the nurse skins, plus I'm a p3 nurse :^). I really do like Oni's "degraded lord" outfit. The spirit's outfits are meh, all like sailor moon-esque stuff.

Objectively, the Rift has a much higher value then any cosmetic. For 1,000 Auric Cells, you'll be getting over $100 (not sure of the exact number) worth of cosmetics.

In the Store, 1,000 Auric Cells can't even get you a single full Very Rare outfit.

Subjectively, it's all up to personal preference. If you really dislike the entirety of the paid Rift, then you might as well spent it on direct cosmetics you like, or alternatively some characters you do not yet own.

My recommendation? Save those Auric Cells for now. Assuming you play enough to finish the free track of the Rift, you can spend those Cells you saved on the premium Rift and obtain all the rewards AND instantly get your Cells back.

Good point. Thing is, some of the survivor skins in there I do not even own the survivors themselves- like johansson. But I'm a killer main after all.

I actually like the "until death parts" black gown outfit for nurse. Even tho I'm p3 nurse, I'd wear that.

Id advise getting the rift pass, not only do you get to unlock a crud ton of more cosmetics than you would on the store, but if you complete the rift you earn those auric cells back meaning you can spend them on a store outfit afterward, or even save the auric cells for the next rift pass

If you are going to complete the rift, you get back the 1k that you put into it (or at least the last one did, this one looks similar but haven't done the math to see if = 1k)

true, I just worry I wont finish the pass. Currently tier 18, but I will be playing a lot less soon due to school work.

Well lucky you, the clown skin is in the free row, so you don't have to buy the rift to get it. If you want to instead buy a skin from the store then do that. I believe the skins will come to the store later eventually anyway, so the only thing you'll ever be missing is the emblems.

Does spirit have any skin worth getting? Idk, trapper/doc have really good skins, I just don't play them much anymore.

Huntress has some good ones, for some reason don't like her that much.

I think the nurse has some okay ones, spirit- meh all weeb stuff or it just looks ugly- even the battlepass skin for her looks so bad (huntresses as well yuck).

The sword for the halloween skin is really good, I use it on my default Spirit skin. Otherwise I don't see any particularly good ones unless you want to change her hairstyle.
