The community is the worst part, telling you to kill yourself and they slept with your mother yatta yatta. You had to be on xbox live when you were 12 to buy this game.
You can close the chat down and fully ignore it and just play the game though as a side note.
Anyway as others have said, honestly, there are healthier game experiences you can give to people. It can be fun but I've avoided buying it for friends due to the players in the game. Personally unless you're desperate for this style of game I would gift them something more positive.
That also expects from the person to retrieve the harrassments and insults back to the target.
Sadly, way too many people can't control themselves.
If we'd be honest, it kind of ruins their life, but because it is a game, they don't realize it.
