When / How long until PTB content goes live usually?

Kind of in a awkward spot, sitting on 950k BP and Shrine of secrets refreshes in a few hours (aprox 1.6 - 1.3 mill maybe), wondering if I should prestige my lovely BingBongBoi Wraith now, and get some good perks on him ahead of time, OR, prestige him AFTER the update.

I have no idea if all my addons in my Wraiths inventory will "convert" to the new updated addons, if not, then I may aswell prestige to start getting good perks on him. But I have no idea if / when I should do that.

My Trapper / Hag were low level when they got updated / reworked, so, I dont really know how add-on updates are handled.

In the November 2016 PTB, we got introduced to generator regression and regenerating hooks. This was also the PTB which infamously tested infinite stage one hook phase, requested by survivors to punish killers for camping the hook: the survivor can stay alive indefinitely on it whilst the others do the gens. The survivors used this to grief and self-sabotaged their own buff, which never made it into the game because it made the devs realise something they hadn't listened to killers about.

I don't know if this is responsible for the regenerating hooks being delayed until almost six months later and three months for gen regression. They were not introduced though until survivors were given new features to mitigate against both of them.

If you mean addons and whatnot you get in the PTB? They do *not* carry over. Same goes for Bloodpoints and offerings you spend in the PTB, they are restored when you convert back to the Live version.

Basically however you left your "Profile" right now when you downloaded the PTB, your account will go back to that snapshot when you go back to the Live version.

Oh that I know already. I'm wondering about the Live Version.

As in the add-ons on my Wraith right now, will they automatically be converted, or will I have to re-farm them from scratch (technically starting from 0 add-on wise) ?

Ah, my mistake.

Yes, they will be converted. Trapper was my main for a looong time and I had a ton of addons stack up, all my bloody coils and whatnot converted from useless Anti-Sabotage to their awesome version.
