Rancor should only trigger on players who have Obsession perks

Change Rancor so it will only trigger on players who have an Obsession perk. But, make it trigger on all players who have Obsession perks.

I would be okay with Rancor if the aura reading got disabled on the last generator for the obsession, because then it would actually be a hide-and-seek. Now It's just "Hey, this ♥♥♥♥♥ is hiding right there. Go get em'."

Now, the survivor can have a bit of a chance if they aren't playing VS Nurse or billy, but if they do they're screwed on multiple levels.

Here's a tip. When the gens are almost done.... get the ♥♥♥♥ away from the killer. You KNOW when a killer has this perk, not only when the gens are done, but every time a gen is popped it tells you. You can totally avoid him if you want. So when you see him going in one direction, go the other way. He might know your location, but that doesn't matter if he's on the other side of the map. If you get caught, it is your fualt.

Srsly if ur complaining about rancor, a gimmicky perk at best that doesn't really help you win the match esp against SWF who will tell each other where the killer is and that he has rancor then maybe ur just going for the lowest hanging fruit cos killers have way stronger perks than this.

If survivor doesn't have obsession perk -> just insta-down (possibly increased carry speed on obsession?)

Seeing as this perk was meant to be a band-aid fix to DS users, let it keep doing that, but make it so that people that don't use any obsession perks don't get completely screwed over. It still has it's revealing power and everything, just no mori.

I just moried a survivor using the perk Rancor. I hoped he had DS, but he didn't. I felt kind of bad. He was never hooked during the whole game and he died because of the perk. It was fun for me, but I think it will feel really suck if you just happened to be an obsession because you were unlucky and were killed instantly because of a perk.

Yesterday as survivor I was the obsession 3 games in a row and I don't run any obsession perks. Then I remembered there's better games than DBD.

needs to be reworked like they've done to moris, your obsession must be hung at least once. developers are going to kill off solo survivors. then all killers will have is swf / streamers whom they hate to go against.

That defeats the purpose of the perk. It is suppose to be a counter to obsession perks, A.K.A. D-Strike. If you make it so the player has to be hooked, then what is the point of it? Just bring a mori. What Survs still don't get is death is not losing. If the killer moris you, it doesn't mean anything. he is actively losing points to murder you on the spot, when you probably already pipped. The only thing you are missing out on are 5K points and your "unbreakable" emblem. It's just so freaking ridiculous that anyone puts up such a fuss about this perk which does next to nothing but make you feel bad for being killed.

It sucks, but that probably means the killer only got one kill. Isnt that good enough?
Also, just because youre seen doesnt mean youll die. If youre good, you can get chased long enough and/or just escape the chase. The killers perks are supposed to work against your survival.
Also, Rancor isnt even aura reading. Its worse than that, and you usually have troubles seeing them.

Pretty sure rancor grants 3 seconds of aura on all survivors when a gen is done?

Well rancor is our "free out of jail" card version of DS. So I guess you can nerf it once they nerf DS.

Since it can be counter I didn't see why I should say yes.
Also why only this perk ? Why not make it avaible on ds since it give you also an advantage ? That way the perk could totally unusable even if the killer didn't use any obsession perk .
