Depends on what character you use it on. It's highly recommended if you have aura reading perks on your build (an example being Nurse's Calling to see if survivors stay to heal after unhooks, Wraith All-Seeing addons, etc.) or addons that help with aura reading. The perk is most useful on the Hillbilly, Nurse, Hag (with extended teleport addons) and occasionally on ambush or stealth killers.

If you use billy without insta-chainsaw addons and are burning his steering and speed addons with cooldown reduction. Then this perk is a perfect match.

What about on Micheal? He's the only reason im grinding the pig((I think the pig really lacks in gen control. The power is just ew. Maybe if I dont play her with her power but still.))

It's pretty good, but far better on some killers than others. Hag, Wraith, and Nurse all make good use of it due to their mobility while lacking an innate one-shot. Pig can also make good use of it as she the hooked survivor will be busy taking their trap off while you can quickly down the unhooker. For most of the others it's decent. Kind of meh on Hillbilly and Leatherface since you can just chainsaw them.

You can hook someone when you're in ew3 and bbq to find another, by the time to down and hook the next one you can see where the myc person is headed and down them since your ew3 will of ran out and they wont expect the one shot.

Does the trap tick down while the person is on the hook?

cause so far, I am disappointed in the RBT.

So maybe its best to not play pig anymore as I just dont like her at all. And I dont really play anyone that would benifit from her perk.


I play Micheal almost exclusively now since hes the most fun.

If you're playing the Pig because you're focusing on getting a RBT kill, then you're not playing her optimally. The Pig's RBT power is mainly used to waste survivor's time and desynchronize their cooperative work and shift their focus on to survival by getting the RBT off. This will help make up her lack of generator control by making more time for you to work with via the power and preventing escapes on the endgame if survivors have a RBT on. The Pig's crouch also helps make up the lack of generator control by reducing the searching time required to find survivors on generators and shortening chases by getting a potential hit or even grab (grabs only really work with the Combat Straps addon). You can also make use of her ambush by using it on medium and short loops or forcing pallet drops. You can mindgame an ambush on a loop by crouching and making some adept survivors who know about this strategy to move onto other spots.

I want RBT kills cause its really cool. I love the saw movies but yea, I just dont like the pig personally. I think thats just it. I dont like her. I like Micheal... and thats it for this game. nothing else has interested me :/
