How to deal with pallet looping?

I'm not the best killer, but I can usually hang up 2 or 3 people on average in a game. But whenever I encounter a survivor who pallet loops me I have absolutely no idea about how I should deal with it. I do one of three things when someone does this;

1. Run around in a circle, trying to avoid the pallet sometimes.
2. Run the opposite direction.
3. Just say ♥♥♥♥ it and completely ignore the survivor and walking to the closest generator to look for another survivor.

What's a better way to do this?

Pallet looping has no counter and takes no skill.

I don't have time now but i will answer later in more detail... Anyway, if you find a good looper and you have to catch him for wahtever reason, don't try to mindgame, just run as fast as you can around the pallet, eat the stun(if you have Enduring) and always break it unless it's not a safe pallet and/or you see that survivor goes away.

Chase someone who's going to drop the pallets and make mistakes so the looper has no more ammunition. Then enjoy as he frantically search for pallets. Bonus if playing doc and have fake pallets.

Use that Chainsaw and charge across gap before they can drop the pallet, time this and you will hit them. You can also use the chainsaw cranking noise to scare ♥♥♥♥ out of player and make them panic runnin from cover:

Generally, use the first loop+transition to second to judge their looping ability. If they display that they're good at looping, just let them waste a pallet before f***ing off to patrol gens. Then, only chase them when you have nothing else to do, to get them to waste pallets for later.

Becoming a survivor main and pass the aswering of that question on some other poor killer soul is the best answer to looping.

Pallets were more safe proof back then, so everything you see on this video should be easier.

Try to avoid chasing good survivors at the start. Find the baby survivor and chase them, forcing them to waste pallets for the good survivors. Then they'll both go down just as easily

Lunge Through a pallet drop

It Doesnt Always work but it's always worth a laugh when timed correctly. You Land the hit and cross the gap while the pallet falls behind you. Still gets you stunned, but they got a nice bleeding wound outta it.

And if they're already wounded, they go down without the pallet activating.
